No drama here, just skills and consistency and that is why they won their first medal since 2008. I wish that Sam Mikulak is still with the team but I understand that he is a coach now. Congrats USA 🇺🇲
That men's gymnastics team. That's what it's all about. That's what's important, not any controversy over the opening ceremony. So proud of our athletes. Don't boycott these games because of political differences. It's about the athletes and how hard they've worked to get here. Give them your support and watch them compete. GOUSA!🇺🇲
I hope this team keep this friendship out of the gym I am sure they will because this was such special moment for them that created a bond they will remember forever. Great job guys we are so proud of you !
One reason to love the Olympics is that people who believe diversity isn’t our strength have to watch day after day as diversity is absolutely our strength.
That look from China says it all, we are back and busted our ass off to get bronze (looking like we didn’t deserve it) and this only the beginning of something great for our men’s gymnastics team going forward. Work your way back up to the top and fighting adversity the right way and handling it as a true champion.
Congratulations, but now that I think about it, I wish the Russian team was allowed to compete as ROC. It would have been more of a real showdown because the Russian team is always very strong, gold medal contenders in gymnastics.
Yeah but I have hope we get more, but we have the most medals with 20. I gotta say though the judges love China, my god. They did not deserve Silver We did. These judges are fukin stupid!
Japan, China and Russia have always dominated men's gymnastics. But this time, the U.S. was able to take the bronze medal because Russia was not competing.
All athletic sports have become much more competitive around the world. And it is of course notable that many of those foreign athletes also trained in the US even as they represent their home country in the games. If as an American you disapprove of this way of doing things I say too bad because this is more about seeing the excellence in the events rather than Americans always winning the events they are expected to win and ending up with the most medals at the end of the games. I'm an American and I authorized this point of view.
Russia is still banned due to that athlete drugging scam they were doing. They got caught secretly drugging their ilympic athletes and swapping the urine out for clean urine during the drug testing phases of the winter olympics in korea
@@michaeldeierhoi4096 Tell that to NBC. it's not about excellence of events from all countries. It's about drama stories about every American athlete like they were celebrities. Half the coverage is just focusing on their lives. Showing their hometown. How they struggled with diversity. Is this a soap opera or a sporting event?
Had the Russians (politics) been allowed to participate, the outcome would have been different. The Russians won Gold in the last 2021 Tokyo Olympic games.
Politics? Invading a sovereign country is "politics"? No. Furthermore, Russian athletes can compete in the Olympics, but they cannot represent their country.

They won their first Olympic medal since 2008.
Fred, Khoi, Asher, Yul and Paul won lots of medals at 2023 Worlds including a team Bronze.
Different competition.

China sitting there so mad! But going into the final rotation, they had a 3 point lead…and blew it.
USA USA USA!
The Chinese team does NOT look happy in that thumbnail
I only see one Chinese guy on the thumbnail and he’s smiling…
It's considered a disgrace to their country losing to Japan. It's a history thing.
They are not happy unless they won gold. 🤣🤣
They are expected to win gold and get punished if they don’t.

Japan and SKorea too ! 😁
See the Japanese judoka reaction of losing !
Did the female who won gold in fencing American too? Did they mention her?
Bad news US still gold medalist
USA has been piss poor so far only 3 gold medal💀 that swimming team was a huge disappointment when they are expected to rack up golds😂

US got the bronze because Russia is not in the Olympics
Japan won gold? Didn't know they were good at gymnastics.
Lmao for men, it’s always between China and Japan for gold.
They've been good for a long time, I imagine you'll start noticing them more in the future now that you see it.

LMAO. Japan in men's gymnastics have always been the gymnastics powerhouse way before China since Japan competed top with Soviet.
@@asdfghjjhgf Wasn't it because they're always caught doping
US leads in third place medals. It used to be first place. And Russia isn't there.
Because they didn’t want to be there.
@@josiefa5852 No, they were not allowed to be there because of the war in Ukraine.

Even if they win, they'll get caught for doping right after. Just look at the history.
