Your facts are a little behind. Simone is the 'most decorated gymnast' with her current medals. She has 30 world championship medals and 9 olympic medals. And it's safe to say she is the longest reigning gold medals gymnast based on the years and her getting gold
Nope, before Simone there was Larisa Latynina and Svetiana Khorkina. Svetiana won 20 World Championships. Larisa still holds the record for the most Olympic Medals won be a gymnast total of 18 (9 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze) but of course USA not going to mention them as they were Russians.

Given how much time Suni actually had to prepare for Paris compared to most of the other gymnasts, Suni did a phenomenal job. While other gymnasts were preparing new upgrades and routines to maximize scores for the current Cope of Points, Suni was recovering. While they perfected their routines, Suni was still trying to regain her strength and stamina. The fact that Suni got a medal with no significant upgrades in the little time she had makes her one of the best in the world.

If Suni did not have that health problem , she would have had gold or silver . She got a medal with a serious health issue . What a great athlete 🎉❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
If that is what she wants to do, then I definitely think she can. One of the things people don't appreciate too much about Simone and which is a large contributor to her successes thus far is how she has been able to maintain such a high level of fitness over all these years. This has allowed her to be able to push herself in a way that others cannot and has kept her for the most part injury free. Of course she has EXCELLENT technique as well.
I think Simone is going to retire. Cecile has taken the coaching position with the DAWGS (University of GA) beginning August 26th. Laurent will follow after a year while their daughter completes her Senior year in TX. They will be closer to their daughter who will be at Auburn University. I know there are other great coaches and Retired Olympic gymnasts out there, but I love the Landi’s. Simone was already the greatest and they knew they could get more out of her. THEY SUCCEEDED! If she continues, I just wonder who else could coach her.
@@CrystalJ-w3o I have a feeling that Aimee Boorman might return to take over from the Landis. I mean, she was initially the lead coach at Simone's parents gym before going over to the Dutch. I think it will be poetic if she were to be there at the beginning of Simone's gymnastic journey and be there at the end. WCC will continue so I am certain Simone's parents will be lining up someone whose coaching will still attract many young and up coming gymnasts. Either way, we will know soon enough I think.
This was the most stressful AA competition for the fans too. After Simone's bars, I was like OMG, Rebecca is going to get real close, too close for comfort. But, I knew Simone would dig deep, get focused & rise above for the win. She wanted it & proved why she was given the nickname "The Goat." Mad respect!!!!!

I love our USA women's gymnastics team! Just, so much love! Not only are they so awesome athletes who are great at what they do, but are an inspiration of how they've overcome their demons and difficulties to achieve their goals! What awesome examples they set to the rest of us to persevere in difficult times like the badasses they are! And, the fact that they stay so humble, and sweet, and kind, showing beautiful sportsmanship and respect to their competitors! AND keeping everything in perspective. Simone once said that she thought gymnastics was everything, but she's since learned how to balance her sport with life. And the same with Suni Lee who said that after the real life struggles she's been through, she's learned that there's more to life than gymnastics. I also love Jade, and Jordan, and Hezley! Larisa Latynina from Russia still holds the record for most Olympic medals as a gymnast total of 18 (9 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze) and Svetiana Khorkina of Russia was the first one to hold most World Championships total of 20 (9 gold 8 sliver and 3 bronze). Simone now holds that record with 23 World Championship titles. Simone is most decorated USA gymnast.
Your facts are a little behind.
Simone is the 'most decorated gymnast' with her current medals.
She has 30 world championship medals and 9 olympic medals.
And it's safe to say she is the longest reigning gold medals gymnast based on the years and her getting gold
That cracked me up!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@desireewilliams4462 10 Olympic now. It’s the next day so just squeezing it in 😂
She is crazy talented and has a laugh and smile that lights up a room.
Simone is arguably the greatest to ever do it! Surely the goat in a once in a lifetime occurrence.
@@P55999yes but they do not have the same skills and the rules and COP are different. Let’s give credit where credit is due
Simone has more total world and olympic medals put together. Larissa came from an eraly code which allowed for a longer run in gymnastics hence the large number of olympic medals.@@P55999

Until someone can BEAT Simone's VAULT and FLOOR, she sure is Queen
Congratulations from 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Rebbeca was lights out today and gave Simone a run for her gold👏...what an incredible AA competition...one for the ages!!!!🥳🎉🎊🎊
Simone you are so beautiful and kind! Love you!
So she pulled out the Biles II just for Rebeca 😂. She said I’m not bringing no knife to a gunfight! 😂
She is the only reason I would have watched the Olympics.
Same. Simone & Sha'Carri
Holy shit I just realized I took Simone Biles to the airport about a week ago 😂
Say what
REALLY. That's cool..
Haha 😂
Bruh, how could you not know 😂 that's crazy.
I don't watch sports, let alone gymnastics, and I come from a distant country called India that neither has sports culture nor even a shred of scope for gymnastics but I know who the absolute GOATs are from across the world.
@@udaykadam5455 I had a feeling. I actually even googled her name on google to look at an image. I wanted to ask her hey has anyone ever told you that you look like Simone Biles? However she was on the phone and she never got off the call. It wasn’t until I saw her husbands name Jonathan (the name on Uber) on Wikipedia and I saw her residence and hometown Spring, TX was when I knew. Anyhow she gave me the most sincere thank you goodbye when I dropped her off. You could tell she’s good peoples.
Simone is the best in the world. And so is Suni. You go girls. And keep on going. Best of luck also. Love Linda. ❤🌻💕🌻
@@MountainEncounters I agree. Blowing bars and beams at 70% capacity is pretty impressive and then throwing yourself a notch up at 75% capacity for floor sure did the job.
@@MountainEncounters are you answering my comment, mountainEncounters??
THIS is the diverse UNITED in THE UNITED STATES. How amazing is it that our champions representing USA are women of diversity and color? TYSM, ladies. I applaud you and your team. #mentalhealthmatters
I just finished watching the event on Peacock. Congratulations ladies, and to Rebeca Andrade! The entire competition was amazing to watch. I finally saw how Simone is on another level, but my ❤ belongs to Suni!! Congrat's girl and I'm looking forward to watching all the girls compete for individual medals, TEAM USA!
FAFO for life is hilarious 😭
I’m a lil slow , what’s fafo?
Excellent, love to see our Stars together. This is about American.
We are a family.
❤❤❤❤U guys. I’m proud of you.
“I don’t wanna compete with Rebeca no more! Uh uh!” 😂😂😂 Simone wasn’t the only one stressed. I definitely was and I think the U.S. was too! 😂 Simone is my girl! But Rebeca is 🔥!! I have mad admiration and respect for her! She’s a phenomenal gymnast if you keep the GOAT on her toes!
These two are amazing… you can tell these two are genuinely happy for each other and truly have a great bond. Its amazing to show that women CAN get along even in competition. The respect they have for each other their team and the sport is inspiring.
It's a YIng/Yang relationship of soft and hard power
If Suni did not have that health problem , she would have had gold or silver . She got a medal with a serious health issue . What a great athlete 🎉❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
maybe silver not Gold
she can't beat the GOAT Simone
Silver 🥈 maybe
No chance 4 gold
Sick or not, Rebeca is better
@@rodrigosabarretoin a world of make believe
Suni is no competition for Rebeca or Simone. Suni barely made it to the All-Around.
TBH Simone could comeback the next Olympics and win gold again, she’s just an insane gymnast!
@@aliciamcdonald7105 Also I think the breaks between the Olympics from competition gives her body rest and resets her mind to loving the sport.
@@emilwandel They do many other competitions besides the olympics. She's not chilling for 4 years straight...
Amaing competition! These women are phenomenal ! Rebeca, Simone and Suni, one of the best olympic podiums EVA!
I have never heard her speak this is the first time i hear her speak and she speaks beautiful ❤
I was stresssed! At home on my couch. I thought I was the only one 😂
When all eyes on simone, i cant stop smiling looking suni, congrats both of you, what a wonderful performances 🔥🔥
Yeah, soft and hard power
Love that Simone gave her therapist credit for the help that she was given. Only those that have sought help and received it will appreciate how important that is. 🥰
So Proud of Simone and our GOATTeam❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad to see both of you ok after all and won too.
These two could not be more admirable, hard-working, and just plain likable! It's so nice to see good things happening for great people.
All of the ladies did an amazing job! So excited and proud!
Congratulations to both of you...
Simone’s GOAT necklace is precious! ❤
What a treat to see three such wonderful, accomplished and generous athletes!! Thank you for the thrilling competition and best wishes for continued happiness to each of you in your lives!
What a heartfelt reflection from Simone Biles and Suni Lee! 🥇 Simone’s GOAT necklace is such a fun and meaningful touch, and it’s great to hear her humble take on being considered one of the greatest. It’s also wonderful to see the camaraderie between Simone and Suni, especially during such a high-stress moment. Their honesty about freaking out and calculating scores together adds such a genuine and relatable element to their achievements. Can’t wait to see what’s next for these amazing athletes! 🌟🙌
Go Suni Lee !!!
It's so great to see those wonderful ladies enjoy themselves and confident. Healthy competition, great sportsmanship, confident and brave, we have our 21st century role model !
As simone doing the interview it's soothing listening to her...feels like don't want the interview to end.
Congratulations girls.❤
Amazing job, ladies!
These young ladies make me so proud and I'm so proud that such brilliant, sweet, talented, hard-working, kind-hearted, inspirational women are representing my country! I love them so much and I wish them all the best!
This is a respectful interview room
“Thank you Rebeca” Got me dying
Congratulations USA , what a great accomplishment. 🎉❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
They are great . Love the women gymnastics team.
Simone Biles is amaizing. Congratulations.
It's like Rebecca wasn't there, to the media. Simone kept bringing her in...
One God, Simone.
Congrats ladies, so amazing
Amen! I said the same thing. Jehovah the Lord God of Israel all the way.
YES!
Rebecca of Brazil is good.
PLEASE SHOW THE FULL INTERVIEW... THANKS
So impressed with all 3 beautiful athletes. Such heart and dedication to get to the podium 🎉❤
Rebecca is great, phenomenal even but shes not on the level of Simone Biles because her difficulty level is so high that she can mess up and still win thats incredible!!
LOVE SIMONE!!! She's so gracious + gifted at the same time!
As how Gabby influenced Simone … Rebecca will inspire the next Brazilian gymnast who will win a gold medal. Good things going to happen from in role model and inspiration
I am loving the gymnastics competition! These ladies are raising the bar!
Love that last question and her message that mental health is just as important as physical health, it clearly showed this year, seeing her smiling and dancing with her teammates really means a lot to me. To be honest, she didn’t even have to come back to win in my mind.
Congrats!!! You both deserve it! Blessings to you both.
Congratulations to all of you!!

Thanks to Simone Biles - not just for her athletic performance but for her normalizing mental health priorities. We all benefit from accepting help when we need it.
