    Literally the best video out there you could show to a person who just started learning the DH convention. Clear, simple, and concise. Would be even better if you could use this learning approach for multiple joint conventions :)

    After Assigning the frames using the other rules, if there's a translation along y-axis, there's most likely a frame shift needed, this is a shortcut I've been using... works so far

    Madam, for getting angle of rotation (theta) if rotation is clock wise direction and z axis is opposite direction of Xi-1 to Xi then we have to take positive sign or negative sign?

    There is a way(method) to build the robot having only DH table parameter

    Does following a different convention for frame assignment change the way I calculate these DH parameters? I was referring to a separate online course which followed the Craig J.J convention of frame assignment but I found the explanation of DH PT to be incomplete there.I understand this far better and clearly. So I wanted to know whether I can use these techniques of calculating DH parameters irrespective of the convention used for frame assignments?

    For the third parameter, the component written there is, a3 and A4, shouldn’t it be a3+A4 instead of zero as the r for that link?

      @@asodemann3 Mam, in last video X3 was in the upward direction(into the page), now it is in out of page (towards us direction) , why?

    • @asodemann3
      @asodemann3  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@imnoone8458 When assigning frames for the Denavit-Hartenberg method, you have to follow all of the rules for frame assignment. But, the frames aren't UNIQUE. In other words, there is more than one way that it is possible to assign all of the frames and still obey all of the rules. In this case, I did it one way in the last video and a different way in this video. As long as all the rules are still followed, it doesn't matter which arrangement you end up with.
