Glad ya had fun in my home state, I live right across the river and lagoon and saw the launch from the backyard. Just bought an 05 CRD myself with 84’000 and did the timing belt. Hope by 100K to get that EGR out of here. Thanks for those videos!

Tom Jeffserson thank you for watching! We loved Florida can't wait to go back and the launch was awesome! Glad to hear you found our videos helpful and congrats on your new purchase! Certainly get that EGR out sooner then later it will increase longevity of the motor! Thanks again for the feedback.

I drove my 2006 Jeep Liberty from NY ( Long Island) to Florida at least 4 times with no issues .

Awesome! I drove my 06 CRD round trip from DC to the west coast in late 2016. We went through Ice storms in Kansas and Oklahoma and a snow storms in Yosemite. I was hoping I would need my z-cables in deep snow, but I never needed them. On the highway the jeep ate a stick and damaged the accessory drive belt, but it was easy to find one, and easy to change once I removed the air intake box.

We've got an ice storm here in Kansas today, and I drove my CRD today.

I'm impressed with your driving through the night dedication. I bet words can't describe the experience of a rocket launch. One of my wife's cousins...her husband works for SpaceX, always fun to talk to him abou the new things they're pulling off.
What kind of mileage did you get on this trip? I noticed the gimbal when you were on the beach.

Str8sixfan thanks man! Driving through the night was challenging but less morons to deal with at that hour lol. Watching the launch in person was unlike anything I've ever seen.. The general mood during the launch was so much excitement I think everyone in miles had a smile on their face. As far as mileage I still don't have a clue.. All kinds of head wind both ways.. Maybe 21 22 on the lower end in heavy wind. Think we could do better if we had ideal conditions.

I still haven't had good conditions to work with since my Stage 1 kit went on either. CEL just popped on this morning, so have to figure that out.

Looked like a fun trip. You think you'll ever put a lift on your Liberty? That would be a great video project. By the way, the gimbal finitely helped.

Scott Gerhart thanks! it was such an awesome trip! Not sure which way we want to go with the jeep height yet but certainly is likely we will do a lift at some point. Glad you noticed the gimbal stabilization it was money well spent! Thanks for watching!
