@@natechatigny7107 Got the same bike, plan to head OVRP soon and check it out. How much was the practice session? Do you have to drain the coolant or safety wire the oil drain plug? Thanks
I’m interested in getting started with track days at my local kart track. Do you recommend getting a KLX300sm? Some people told me to go for a 450 but i don’t want to do a full conversion and have to deal with rebuilds
if you don't have a competitive bone in your body, a klx is great because it's street legal and can be used as a street bike as well, while other options can't. But after doing it for a while and getting good, you might want to race, and the klx is no race bike. If you get a used one for cheap, it'd be great for getting into it, and you can sell it later down the line for something faster if you need. I have thousands of extremely cheap but fun track miles on my klx and it's made me a good rider
@@nathanbaeyens2856 appreciate the feedback!!! I could see myself wanting to compete… I am going to consider all options. . Was there a go-to bike or popular choice among the people that that raced? Thanks again for the reply
Ill recognise the sound of a klx with no lid anywhere 🤣
Mad skills!
Nice vid. I remember the stock street tires on my KLX250 being a blast on twisty mnt San Diego roads with the clickers cranked to tight.
Sweet video! Love supermotos!
Did you ever end up getting an aftermarket gear indicator? If so can you make a video about it (install and review).
Good video are you running stock tires on this video?
Yes
@@nathanbaeyens2856 thank you sr i change the rear tire for a 160 60 17 is running good
Awesome vid! Backing it in like a boss haha! What track is this?
Oakland Valley raceway park
Nice video! Would you recommend the KLX to a beginner rider?
Absolutely. It's the most forgiving motorcycle I've ridden.
@@nathanbaeyens2856 Awesome. Appreciate it - from one Nate to another 🤙
