I managed to get the RSD Peter Howell & John Ferdinando release of Ithaca and Agincourt stuff, it's really good. I'll be checking out your other pick-ups too.
I think i must have been one of the few people who bought the Montrose Avenue LP, when it was released. You are quite right, its a fantastic album, great tunes, there is hardly a dud track on it. I didnt know it had been reissued. Im still waiting for the first vinyl release of Shack/ HMS Fable.
You and your endless supply of '90s originals! I'm jealous. Having said that, this reissue sounds pretty good. You're not the only one unaware that Montrose Avenue has been reissued: there's no entry for it on Discogs yet. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before HMS Fable makes it onto wax. An RSD release, perhaps?
Back in the day, I had a friend (Scott Sindon, who later briefly played with the Dickies) that tried to steer me clear of Spontaneous Combustion (too square). I ignored his advice & bought them anyway & still have them to this day. I will say Brock aint no Carl Palmer & Carl Palmer aint no Bill Bruford. Having said that, he deserved better than beating the skins for the Babys.
@@MrShelf-Stacker Babys not my thing. From a purely drum oriented perspective, Spontaneous Combustion offers far more as a player than the aforementioned Baby beat could. I'm sure he was quite happy with the paycheck though.
2nd, thanx for the update.

I need to check out that Agincourt record.

I was with you right up until you dissed the Babys. Love that band! I was blasting 'Isn't It Time' in the car just today. ☮️
