Wow! This is a great showing here! I could see any and all of these making it into my collection and some have! Your description of the Fuzzy Duck LP is spot on! Amazing musicians! Killer Prog Hard Rock jammer! I remember a couple years back when I seen it in the bins at one of my local RS and I couldn’t grab it fast enough! And the cover is a gas! That Martin Circus looks interesting! As does that cult record! LoL! Great vid! Oh and that denim jacket is freaking cool! Styling! Peace ✨✌️👽✨
Cheers Brian. Yeah, the denim is a new-to-me vintage piece. Thanks for noticing 😎. Gotta say, I was very chuffed with this particular selection of pick-ups!
We in California were well away of all the cults around. Crazy $hit. It's a fun selection of records, mostly all new to me. The Vinyl Community is sort of a cult too 🙂
KingBee is great last time in there got recognised by a fellow ELP fan , great prices as you say . The Collegium Musicum album , was my first intro to that band , not the easiest of listens but the instrumentation is exceptional, and Marian Varga is such a talent . Great finds
@@MrShelf-Stackerthey can get a bit repetitive, I think Live is my favourite , Konvergencie is recommended but also the more structured ( and more synth) Continuo
Some interesting finds there, I'll certainly check out We All Together and Streetmark. I managed to pick up The Fraternal Order of the All-Greetings from Planet Love which I hadn't heard of until you showed it so thanks!
if you are near kingbee again- go another mile up the road to stretford mall and see reel around the fountain, there is a much bigger shop and similar prices to kingbee ... kingbee is great too though
@@MrShelf-Stacker kingbee and fountain are the best in manchester really. in the centre of the city there is clamp down and at the top of afflecks palace there is vinyl resting place... i never really find much in the city though as it is really picked over. maybe if i was there more regular. fountain and kingbee are my regular haunts, fountain mostly.
Hey man. I own the same Dr. Z reissue, Akarma does it right, quality wise. All those Father Yod lps are interesting, originals are mega pricey. Fuzzy Duck is an outstanding hard rocker. Great haul overall. Cheers!
I reckon Akarma does a really great job on the packaging. The sound quality can be hit and miss depending on the source, but how else are we ever going to own these LPs? They got it right on the Dr Z album!
A mix of luck, gut instinct and research! I have a list on my phone of around 50 records I'm looking for, ranging from easily attainable LPs by, for example, the Beach Boys or Todd Rundgren, right through to rarities by Headstone and Homer. Generally though I prefer to stumble upon stuff that looks interesting, or that I might have read about or seen on the VC. Smartphones have taken a lot of the guesswork (and some of the fun) out of digging for vinyl, but I still pick up the occasional blind buy that turns out to be a gem, like that Ghost Orchestra LP.

Excellent price for "Free". I love the music on that album and the jacket is beautiful. I need to check out "We All Together". Cheers.

Hi Graham. Kingbee never disappoints. Are there other Collegium Musicum LPs that you'd recommend, or is 'Live' their high point?

@@grahamallen9393 I think Continuo will be my next port of call. Thanks for the heads-up.

Yeah, that 'The All' double 10" is a lovely little package. Deserves to be better known!

Yeah, Reel Around the Fountain is a great shop. I think it was Rob Walker who alerted me to that one last year. Any others I should know about?

When you traveling you have a list of records or no. Or what is your criterion for buying?
