Great video, always find a few new things to look for each time I watch one of your videos. Think the other Tin Tin album is Astral Taxi, I have them both. Found Tangerine Peel in a charity shop in Birkenhead a few years ago.
Hey man. That record fair looked really cool. Great cover on Bluebeard lp. Alamo is pretty solid. Less Than Zero is one of my favorite 80s movies. You have a decent haul there. Cheers!
@@MrShelf-Stacker Hi, i have the Bluebeard album in my vinyl collection. Great Fantasy cover and some really good songs. Especially the title track. Weak production. But it,s a private pressing. Did you know that 4 band members went on and became Receiver? They only released an ep on receiver communications. In 81. You can listen to the album here. In my opinion, it,s average. Compared to Bluebeard. more straight forward. The pomp is gone. Judge for yourself.
If you don’t know already, the Deadringer album was a one off from a ban featuring members of The Alice Cooper band and Blue Oyster Cult. Great melodic hard rock. I’ve been looking for a decent copy of the Bluebird album for decades. I have a battered copy that had no sleeve and cost 10p 20 years ago but it’s in very poor shape.
I hadn't even got around to reading the Deadringer sleeve notes before posting this video, so thanks for the heads-up. I see now that Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway and Joe Bouchard are on the album. Quite a line-up! Good luck upgrading Bluebeard, although I'd have killed even for a beat-up copy before finding this one. ☮️
You’re very welcome. I’m new to your channel and have only seen a few vids of yours that centred on rare prog and psyche albums. I am a big prog fan but the thumbnail with you holding up the Bluebird album really caught my attention as it’s very rare to hear mention of it. I particularly love pomp and AOR obscure bands so happy to see Bluebird get a mention. One day I’m sure I’ll find a decent copy for a fair price.

nice finds!
Had 161 tables, Dont miss the next one next Sunday. Nov 24th 2024.
See you at Twickers.
Looks like a fantastic show. I love that Triangle album. And the first JA is that early folk-rock before they really did psychedelia. Love it!
I can't wait to immerse myself in my haul. I listened to Triangle last night and really enjoyed it!
Looks like a very successful record fair. Lots of bargains there. Cheers.
Great fair, but I need to rein in the spending for a bit, I think. Plenty to listen to in the meantime!
I love that Kansas album cover! Reminds me of Lon Chaney Jr😉
Definite touch of the wolfman about it. Just giving the record a listen while I write this. Really clean pressing. 👍🏻

Great charity shop find! Astral Taxi: that's it - been a while since I span that one. Thanks for watching ☮️

Yeah, I think I overdid it slightly! That Bluebeard sleeve is a thing of beauty. Alamo don't exactly reinvent the wheel, but like you say, solid!

Just watched it and will add my comments on there :-)
A lot of unknowns for me, I'm very curious about Crippled Black Phoenix.
I started with Mankind The Crafty Ape (not that there's a right place to start), but I can definitely recommend that album. Cheers!
@@MrShelf-Stacker Thanks, I'll check that out.
Are you rooting for Uganda?
Ha ha! That was 'you Gunners' (aka Arsenal Football Club), not Uganda 😂
