      People keep voting these morons in, they get what they vote for. So many believe everything they here,sad but true. For example ABC says here in this clip "laws to help renters", it does the opposite. It will help CA turn over some real estate and in turn reaccess the properties for higher rents.

    The higher the wage the easier it is to completely eliminate that job through automation - to be replaced by far fewer educated and skilled workers who can install and maintain the automation - the results will be more unskilled unemployable people on government welfare type programs, no summer jobs for young people, and higher prices for the products sold - many fast food restaurants have already eliminated the order taker/cashier this will only cause more jobs to disappear

  • @Elevendyeleven
    @Elevendyeleven 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    These kind of permissive drug laws make people think its legal to come to work high and drive under the influence. A caregiver came to work high and was driving my disabled family member with severe dementia around under the influence, left her alone in her apartment with the door wide open and left her outside alone/unattended for several minutes. She literally smoked in her car in the driveway before work. I couldnt get her fired. But we know California doesnt care about people with disabilities, much less the kind messages they send to sociopaths who could care less about the safety of others.
    Democrats are in charge, yet the first time there's a deficit they go straight for education funding because they dont care about kids either. They all but invite drug addicts from across the country to come here, set up a tent and do drugs in front of schools. I would love some coverage of the real world consequences of some of these dumb laws, like shutting down the prisons while defunding police. Tent cities went up and women are no longer protected. You can freely stalk and harass people in California. The police only come when you've been attacked or are dead.

    • @bcdaron
      @bcdaron 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You have a bad employee, don't blame marijuana or the legislature. I personally think laws protecting us from the government and private employers intruding into our personal matters is a good thing. I'm curious, was that caregiver you're complaining about government-funded?
      They go after the education budget because it is the biggest line item, and frankly, the biggest waste of money the state spends. The educational outcomes in California are absolutely terrible in comparison to other states. Why would you reward abject failure?
      The police here are lazy too, LA Metro spent hundreds of millions of dollars contracting the LA Sheriff's Dept to protect the rail system. The lazy sheriffs refused to ride the trains to make patrons safe instead they stayed in their cruisers riding from station to station. When the Metro board complained about the lack of coverage they told them we will do police work how we see fit just shut up and pay us.

      @@bcdaron she wasnt my employee. She worked for a company your tax dollars paid for. People with intellectual disabilities are severely neglected in the "6th largest economy." It looks like the 1950s, because nothing is regulated in California and they eliminated the very poor protections they had, so now they have none. Same goes for education. School admins pay themselves high wages and keep teacher salaries low. I know because I was a teacher. I say was, because CA school districts are some of the most toxic work environments imaginable. They are largely staffed by subs who live out of their cars. CA doesnt even follow its own laws for education or services for the disabled. Instead of fixing the root of the problems, which is narcissistic leadership, CA puts bandaids on fires. Thats because its been run by narcissists for many years, that write irresponsible laws to appear compassionate while abandoning kids, people with disabilities and the working poor. Its also 38% foreign born thanks to sanctuary state laws. There is no low income housing so everyone moves away, except the disabled. They just die in the streets while people go shopping around them. But smoking medical marijuana is the priority. BTW as a chronic pain sufferer, medical marijuana is pointless. Democrats are hypocrites. All they really care about is war. Thats why I left the party.

    • @bcdaron
      @bcdaron 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Elevendyeleven Somehow I just knew this was a government-sponsored employee. That employee is an underpaid cog in the system, you get what you pay for. I guarantee if you paid for a private practitioner who made a decent living you wouldn't have a worker trying to numb themselves from undiagnosed depression with marijuana because they have to deal with disabled people for peanuts as pay. I find it so funny how you've left the democrat party but still are thinking like a democrat, entitled to world-class services on someone else's dime. Stop thinking the government owes you something. The government doesn't owe you a good teaching job, care for your disabled and infirmed, low-income housing, or money for the working poor. The people in government are some of the richest people in the U.S., they use the government to keep you poor. The only reason we need low-income housing is because the government has used zoning laws to make homes unaffordable. The government inflated the housing market pumping trillions of dollars into mortgage-backed securities. Home prices are so high because the government told older Americans they don't have to sell their homes and move in with their kids like previous generations because we have reverse mortgages to keep you in your home and government-backed long-term care facilities and Medicare to keep you afloat. There is no way to pay for all these underfunded freebies and Americans are always shouting for more free stuff. Big Daddy America is broke and insolvent and it got there by promising too much to people who think money is free. Free money and government policy that restricts the market from being able to naturally correct comes in the form of inflation causing your average family to be priced out of affording a home and a family. The lack of children means the government has to improvise as to where they obtain labor. The reason the government is letting in all these immigrants is because they created an unsustainable taxation and pension system that requires more wage slaves. The government is distorting the whole market and your solution is to just replace the "narcissist" and not reduce the government, you sound just like a democrat. You're just a democrat who is mad that the government isn't wasting money the way you want it wasted.

    Increasing the minimum wage is THE reason why everything is expensive. Increasing the minimum wage is an extremely short term solution.
    Our terrible politicians and those that cry about the minimum wage are causing the costs of goods, services, and living to go higher. Research it. How do you think companies are going to pay for the increased wages? Going to a fast food restaurant used to be affordable, now it’s expensive. The other day I went to KFC and got the 5 piece chicken tenders meal at a cost of $19, just 3 years ago it was $9. We need to understand 2 important issues.
    1 a minimum job is not a career, it’s a stepping stone to a real job.
    2 increasing minimum wages has a trickle down effect that will make items that were less expensive, now expensive.
