more laws huh?
too bad they dont enforce the old ones.
YT can’t even follow its own rules ..
You expect law makers to?
Yes, we should expect lawmakers to provide more enforcement than a video platform. 😅 @SAVAGELIVEMEDIA
You got that right
My parents fled a communist country, and they espoused the same tactics - they have a BUNCH of laws but rarely do they “enforce it”. However they have the various laws, so that they can pile on when they have a target they want to go after.
They just make laws to go after some people and then undo.. why isn’t giving knowingly giving someone an STD a crime? Well it WUZ a crime. Then they repealed it. WTLiteralF?
Tax, tax, tax!!!!! What about those grab and go thieves!!
The grab and go- verment
You would think, that the state, would so some to cut down on theft. That way they could cut done on the competition
But they claim.. that California .. is progressive and cares about the ""working man"".... YEAH RIGHT!!!!
Right! They protect the criminals and punish the law abiding citizens
There's going to be something on the ballot this November to deal with they from what I heard.
Aren’t taxes a hidden fee
You know up front you’re going to pay 8.5% taxes. Not some bs service fee with an unknown amount
@@Cynthiaa315 after traveling a lot, I noticed it’s really better to see the price after tax not before
Conveniently California defined the difference between fee and tax.
Taxes is not hidden fee… you already know we pay tax in every purchases… hidden fees are those added after the base price and tax that is not indicated in the pricing label…
Taxes were only supposed to be around for about 5 to 10 years, but they decided to keep it around for eternity which which ruined the whole United States
Too bad California Government won’t be transparent and track all their money…..😮

The California governor is a professional politician and needs to go !, he has gotten rich off the tax payers money during his lifelong career!
Check out his rise in income since virus. And the rise in californias cost of living, homelessness, taxes, crime, interest rates, housing, utilities. Unemployment I cannot name a single thing that has improved!!! He can kick rocks!
Like Regan said. (If a politician is getting rich, he’s taking it from the people).
Things he has done for the people: 1. Push the largest economic stimulus ever 2. Expand signature anti-poverty program 3. Support controversial gig worker law 4. Extend rent and utility debt relief 5. Put new limits on police use of force 6. Expand early childhood education 7. Okay free school meals for all 8. Overhaul charter school law 9. Ban future fracking 10. Prohibit a widely used pesticide 11. Boost Obamacare subsidies to name a few things. I don't like him myself, but don't go making claims that are lies. FYI his salary is less than what super intendents make in our local school districts yearly. Newsom also paid 32% of his salary back in taxes. Amazing how he pays more in taxes than I do (percentage wise), shocking right?. And with his $200k salary he donated $30k back to charity for the year. I challenge you to do the same with your yearly salary...do you donate about 15% of your salary to charities?
@@davestir5743 so that’s what he says. Check the records if if any of it had worked in the peoples favor he’s also acquired vineyards and many properties from foreclosures people could not keep during virus

Taxing ammo and guns 11% should be illegal under the Constitution. Governor fleecing the US citizens for 11% under tax. Why, for what?
Washington State tax is about the same it feels extortionate.
Time to move to Arkansas where it's less taxes. It's safer, cheaper to live, it's pro 2nd amendment and better than California. Taking our business and people to a better state
It is ILLEGAL under the US Constitution - 'shall not be infringed' Anything that relates to owning, poesession and operations of firearms falls into that category and taxing is one method of restriction! Not everyone can afford the additional cost and that IS INFRINGING!!!

Californians complain about the high cost of everything, yet they are too lazy to find out what is causing the high prices.
They keep voting for the same people creating the mess.
That's because people are too smart to know better than to go vote. It's all superfluous and just legalese writing lawyers do whatever they want and put laws into effect before it's even available to be voted on. The dumb ones are voting over and over on the same people and wait for the TV to tell them who to hate next, then there's people like you who keep blaming it on a non conscious state called California and it's occupants. 11% to help fight crime
So stupid!!!!
It’s 11% to fight the second amendment.
Idky they are tacking that on, especially on that business owner
Do these politicians really still think criminals care about taxes?
It will always hurt law abiding citizens.

Only Panera Bread is exempt actually
California collected $425 million from 3.73 million vehicle owners who were 60 days late renewing their registrations in 2019. The average registration that year was $289. $425,000,000/3,730,000 is $113.94. That's a 39.4% penalty/FEE.
Who's fault for late penalties?
@@humbertovazquez3733 Critical thinking seems to be your downfall, so I'll explain it to you. You missed the point. It's about the hypocrisy of the government passing laws against businesses while doing the very thing they don't want businesses to do.

No, this governor is horrible.

Allowing credit card companies to track gun sales will only hurt law abiding citizens. Not the criminals who use stolen firearms.
Honest question. How can tracking a legal sale hurt a citizen who obeys the law?
Defacto gun registration. First it's the guns, then....?
@robertg6339 why is it necessary?
@@David-um4dy that's another good question, but one doesn't answer another.
@robertg6339 it's about control. Yes believe it or not, Newsom and his Dems want the people disarmed. All his gun policies only affect law abiding citizens like myself. A criminal is not going to use a Mag Lock on his AR15 come on now 😂
Of course restaurants can still have hidden fees. Gavin owns restaurants.
🎯
Yes but the difference is now they can be sued, lose in court, and shut down for good.
high end and high margin restaurants like Gavin's don't have to pay fast food minimum wage so he pays $16 an hour.

You do know HIV is not a death sentence right? You can live a long healthy life just like anyone else. There is medicine which makes it undetectable, so you can no longer transmit the disease. Do your research. This is not the 90’s.

The transparency law should be applied to everything, not just concerts. Groceries and other goods could start by including taxes in the price for each item.
Looks like prices are going up again!
Of course they are going to tax gun store owners. They are constantly punishing them out im CA.
What about the crime? Will they keep allowing it to occur on a daily basis, and instead encourage it to keep happening???
The rent law should have been in the law over twenty years ago. Land lords charging deposit plus first and last months rent are crooks
How? The deposit is refunded with interest if the place is undamaged and last months rent just means you don’t skip out
@@BusArch42 Most landlords find the smallest things to keep deposits.
@@JB-xk4kl I’ve always gotten mine back. Most states have rigid laws. I helped one if my friends in California get her deposit back. Her LL tried to keep all of it but had only receipts for a broken window. She said that was fair she did crack it. We went to small claims court and won. The LL had to lay the filing fees too. When she wouldn’t give her the money we took the judgement to the DMV and placed a lien on her car. Hehe. It took a year but she tried to sell it and she ended up paying my friend back in cash. I toe, her don’t take anything except cash in hand. Tenants do have rights they just have to use them. There are lots of times that they are in the wrong though. My son MiL walked out of her apartment owing rent. We put the deposit down for her and she skipped paying her past month. She has a judgement in that state and rightly so.
That's why , I don't eat out, travel, no movie theaters, Drive inn's, amusement Parks, concerts. No county/ State Fairgrounds, None of that. You can't get Got, if you don't go!!

Triple taxation should be a crime!
Aren't taxes hidden fees?
LOL, the hidden fees part didn't take long for someone to buy it out.
I think gun stores should take this to the Supreme Court. Cause it Is a violation of their Constitution. Also Bar owners should realize. That this new law is all about propaganda. Making them buy technology for their business. Otherwise they We'll have a big fine on their head. Plus
The state and the governor get a little share. On.
The sales Products, Sales tax from businesses and. The consumer. And the list goes on and on and on. Oh, and by the way, all these laws, That the governor of California is putting on California, most of them are a violation of your constitution. No matter if you're rich or poor or Homeless. It doesn't matter. As long as you don't knock on His door. He knows he's getting away with a lot of c***
2A = "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." There should be very large taxes on cigarettes and alcohol. That would pay for most things Californians need.
I thought legalizing weed was supposed to generate taxes 😂😂
@@danielmoreno7056 whoever believed that was a fool. California has been the weed hub since the 70’s. Legal or not
Apparently you're not a drinker so you don't care about taxes on alcohol. They already tax alcohol and cigarettes. Maybe they should put a big tax on your cookies and pop? Sugar is just as bad for you. Maybe they should tax you if you don't exercise. Maybe one of these days you will realize taxes aren't the answer

So hidden fees are bad but adding a new unhidden 11% fee is good. LOL
How about full government transparency?
Grab and go thieves need to have way harsher penalties
On the up to 1 months rent does this mean owners will have to refund the money back to the renters? Owners in Lake Tahoe are well known for asking for 2 months rent if not more as a deposit from their tenants.
There should also be transparency in our government spending not only on consumer item. This law should also be applied a,one our government institution and employees.
Cobalt Lair always gives our clientele the total amount due for any of our BD/sm sessions, no surprises. A 50% session reservation fee is required to reserve any of our sessions. However, should any client request longer sessions we also let them know how much more it will cost.
All restaurants are exempt at the last minute. BS. Charge what you want but it should be required to be disclosed
I've lived in Los Angeles since 1990 and I've had landlords want 1st, Last and a deposit the same as one month rent. I've said, that's illegal in CA and they have responded very similarly, like, guess who doesn't qualify to rent this house. It's disgusting.
Protecting consumers?
Really?
How about car dealerships? Where’s the pricing transparency there
Where is the transparency in all the new taxes being passed under our noses by CA democrats??????????? At least with fees we can just not go back to that business but with the taxes being added on we are stuck there is no way out except to move out I guess.
Hey need to go after Uber and restaurants and restaurants who deliver
Good cuz first and second month's rent is ridiculous to shell out.
That is nothing given it can take three years to evict in California
Credit Card Companies have ALREADY been tracking Gun Sales, as well as any Gun Accessories.(i.e. Holsters, Clips, etc.). and other paraphernalia.
They also track other types of potential weapons (i.e. Ninja Stars, etc).
We discovered this many years ago, (2015) when our C.C. companies would deny transactions/ refuse to process transactions, without first calling our home, and asking a bunch of personal questions about us, who's the items for, if it's a gift &who for, what the item will be used for, etc., etc....
The questions were none of their budiness; none of the items were illegal to purchase, and most of the items weren't weapons -- just accessories, etc.
If we refused to answer EVERY-SINGLE-QUESTION, they refused the transaction, Flagged our account, froze our credit cards, and refused to let us use our credit cards.
They also attempted to refuse to accept our payment to pay off the monthly balance of our credit card.
They acted like SPIES and Middlemen for the Government, and we had to first obtain THEIR Approval, and answer all their questions.
It definitely seemed like what they were doing was Illegal, and way for the Government to bypass the Legislative Procrss, and to impose Restrictions and Control, without first obtaining Congressional Approval, or passing Formal Laws.
We were (and are) Excellent Customers who paid our credit card balance in-full every month, and had no credit problems.
And yet, they treated us like we were criminals. 😠😡
Good those concert fees are ridiculous
Come on only a few new laws? I know you can all create more laws, not enough laws!
Except for the tax, the government wants you to wait until the second you go to pay for it right so isn’t that hidden fee?
What about all the DMV fees

So, what’re we gonna do about homelessness, theft, and robbery??!
Time to leave cali.
And go where? Alabama? 😅
No restaurants included? Panera? French Laundry?
What a joke. The restaurants can slap on fees at the end. Who got the big “donations” to add the exemption?
Dr. And dentists and hospitals need this nc
Wow, this is part of the reason that people are packing up and leaving.
Good luck with those concert tickets- you pay the fees or you back out of the purchase-please explain!
Then do a simple thing like including the tax to the final price advertised on each item you buy, like most countries in the world.
People love transparency when it benefits them..absolutely hate it when it doesn’t 🤷🏼♂️
It’s all about transparency until you ask them where are our taxes going.
