- Ram Bhandari, has a small workshop in Ilyas Nagar, where he repairs cricket bats. Here is a list of his customers - Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir.
It’s not just Indian players. Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Luke Wright, and Kieron Pollard have also sought his help to fix their bats.

Very kind hearted man 🙂, as he was our neighbors me and my brothers used to visit him many times to see bats of many players like virat, Gayle, dhoni etc.

Only if he was in England. Repairing a players favourite bat It's priceless and players would pay hundreds of pound. When i used to play cricket after breaking my favourite bat i think almost 8month i Couldn't score more than 10runs!
I was watching bat making video from New balance and gunnmore with their fancy equipment, cutting edge tools operated by the command of a computer. This guy stands far way than them with simple technology.

Love for sport wont pay bill though, at least those player can chip in and build a decent workshop for this man with proper ventilation so he wont inhale those harmful dust. so what, a bat repair costs 50-100 rs, its there generosity they are giving that much, if a chewing GUM is worth 1Re, that doesn't mean they have to buy it for 1000Rs just because they are rich... A 10Rs Lays American Style costs 10 rs to us and it costs same for celebs also. Besides that he is willing to do it for 5 to 10Rs. So do'n't blame the rich cricketers, they have no fault here.
