Absolutely fascinating, I had no idea such revival was possible. That said I’ve only just discovered that I’m supposed to have oiled and knocked in my sons new bat. Added to which, I had a bit of a go at him for some of the marks on it. I’ve since apologised. Live and learn.
I know how frustrating it is when things get marked or damaged through a child's lack of care, especially when cricket bats are not cheap, so I fully understand you having a bit of a go at your son. As you are now aware the bat should have been oiled and knocked in, and now apologised to your Son, I think you have done a great thing. There are some out there who would not have apologised. That said, please be mindful that even with oiling and knocking in a bat, it is still likely that you'll get some marks and dents on the bat even with taking care of it and using it sensibly. Afterall, it's sole purpose is to hit a very hard ball which is travelling at some good speed, over and over again.

this is wonderful - may i know the glue ( white and yellow) thats used ? how about the black solution that applied to tail ? can you also share those details ?
Fair repair, but once you've applied the sander on it you've changed the curvature and contouring of the bat permanently. The owner will get a fresh-looking bat but it will totally different from before, in terms of pickup, middle etc. That is the beauty of a cricket bat...even the slightest alteration could prove to be costly for some.
We don't change the curvature of the bat unless the customer has requested it. All of our sanders have a soft foam base which allows us to sand without changing the shape.
I am a fan of your work I always watch your videos so clean and satisfiying when ever you have extra bat with your logo please send it to me as gift it will be dream come true
It's definitely viable. Have a read through all of our reviews from happy customers here: fantailoriginals.com/collections/service/products/crack-repair

That black linen+epoxy toe guard really looks nice against the pale willow.
This is a serious question is this really viable, I would have thought this cost almost what a new bat would cost
It's definitely viable. Have a read through all of our reviews from happy customers here: fantailoriginals.com/collections/service/products/crack-repair
A good bat cost above 10k and professional ones go all the way to 50k and repair would hard cost 5k!!

Satisfying video very nice.
This toe gard is far better then the rubber toe gard.
Yes, it is. It will give a little bit of support to the toe, which will slow down the rate of further cracking.
What is that black mixture that was used for that toe? And did you use the edge tape under that black mixture?
This is the exact condition of (Joe Root's) bat after 🤾 Bumrah's fiery spell😊... and TH-cam recommended me this video after 4th test 🙇...
man , the same needs to be applied to Kohli and team's arses perhaps they will do some good overseas
Attention to detail is excellent 🥇🏅
Thanks Andrew
