Lachlan, You did a brilliant job on Roosters bat. l would love you to look after my bats in the future but at 80yrs old I don't think there will be too many, but keep your good work, you are a gun.
Hey Sir. I would like to recommend you to use epoxy adhesive to fix all the major and minor cracks except handle replacement. Epoxy lasts longer than white glue and hardens the wood a little bit.
Kookaburra should offer a service for previous release bats to be refurbed if needed, along with replacement stickers etc. Of course it wouldnt be cheap but people would pay the $$$ for service like this
@@rotorua4587 I'm talking old old bats like 10+ yrs. They won't print stickers for people wanting retro looks (aka 2006/07 kahuna on a blank bat) which if they charged a price, people would pay 🤷🏻♂️
So the stickers don’t reflect the design of bat? Bit of a swizz when a kid wants the same bat as their hero and they’ve likely got a different shape/profile bat.
Lachy, amazing work mate. Keep up the high quality bats. Love em!
Always good to see you in your element, Ding!

Jake is upcoming Finch for Australia 😊❤️
Amazing effort as allways !!
I've always wondered if all that extra glue on the binding at the shoulder makes it too rigid and contributes to shoulder cracks?
Is simply glueing the toe fragment back on sufficient? No extra binding required? I would have thought the next mistruck yorker would break it easily?

They do it cost $94 for it be refurbed and re stickered

Would a batsman notice that his favorite bat has gotten a little lighter from the sanding and buffing?
