- Standing at 5,895m (19,341ft), Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is not only the tallest mountain in whole Africa but also the tallest free-standing mountain in the entire world!
This 7 days adventure was done thanks to @ClimbKiliCom the best rated climbing company for Mt Kilimanjaro according to TripAdvisor. We highly suggest them due to their experience and high success rate on making it to the summit.

In part 1 of our Kilimanjaro series, you'll see our journey from the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park through the rain forest and our first night at Machame Camp to our second day of climbing which was much steeper to our arrival at Shira Cave Camp. And finally our third day where we climbed all the way to Lava Tower Camp at 4,600m for lunch and acclimatization before sleep down at 3,900m at Baranco Camp.

It was such a fun experience but I have to say it was the most challenging thing I ever filmed. walking with all the equipment, running in front of everyone to film all the time, going to bed last to get time lapses and filming in pitch black environment like you'll see in the next episode was quite something. The path at the beginning, that is why I love to hike, the paths. I am glad I have learnt about mountain climbing, I have always thought the mountains are steep, like you start climbing and you are suddenly going up. Some heights I see there, I wonder if I would move an inch, Tracy is very brave. The guides are such kind people, dedicated to their work. 💚💚💚
You were well fed I see. Eating is usually my favourite time. It is so cold up there. It was an amazing adventure. A King and princess adventure.
The climb is not to steep apart from the second day. Otherwise its totally fine.

Congratulations guys. Now you should try Mt. Kenya. While Kilimanjaro is taller, it has a more gentle ascent. Mt. Kenya is a gruelling steep ascent.
We will most likely do it at some point.

We brought 3 power banks with us and kept them warm by sleeping with them in our sleeping bags.
Looks like Kilimanjaro is extreme luxury climbing. Other mountains tend to be more of a camping trip.

Hi, I have a question: so did you guys go for safari in Tanzania, because what I can see is only in Kenya videos , I am planning Kilimanjaro and confused about safari where should I go for that
We have only been on one safari in Tanzania. Because we live in Kenya, it makes no sense for us to do the same in Tanzania. With that being said, the one we did was in the treehouses of Elewana and it was amazing!
