    Taco Ranch Biscuits Bites:
    / 196047390019711128
    Easy 3 Ingredient Sausage Balls:
    Mix:
1 lb pork breakfast sausage (hot or mild)
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    2 cups baking mix
Form into small ball and cook 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees
Dad’s Favorite Sausage and Velveeta Cocktail Toasts aka Infant CPR:
Brown and drain 1 pound each hot and mild breakfast sausage
Season with 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Melt in 2 pounds cubed Velveeta cheese
Place spoonfuls of mixture on cocktail toasts and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
Chex Party Mix: (Use as a guide and make it your own - Usually I add much more of the seasonings than the recipe calls for; but I did not this year and my husband missed the extra flavor)

I had to work but next weekend I will have three days off and I can’t wait 😜
Plus I get a bonus day off early in the week. I am so excited for some time away from work. I love my job, but I am tired. Plus I need to wrap my grandson’s gifts and I need to get some cooking done ahead of the weekend. Sausage balls are a favorite around here. I feed guys so I can’t make a single batch, they just wouldn’t last. I never thought to freeze them before I cook them. That’s a game changer for me. Thanks for sharing 💕💕 everything looked yummy! Blessings to you sweet friend Merry Christmas 💕

Donna enjoy your time off, I am off work til after the New Year and I am so ready. I won't get paid, but that's OK, we budget for it and I love to be off this time of year. And yes girl, freeze you a bunch of sausage balls. I can't imagine feeding more than one guy, my husband could eat the whole batch if I didn't watch him 😂 Thanks for watching and have a blessed week friend ❤

Sausage balls are not a northern thing although myself and probably many others are introducing them to the north. When I make mine I use Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix! They are so much more tasty than when I used to use just Bisquick! The next time you make sausage balls you might want to try it I think you would all like it. :-)

We always do snacks and appetizer things for Christmas Eve. We also Bake a ham and then somebody does sliders or something. I bought 5 small pieces of prime rib marked down the day after Xmas for $3.59 a lb. I get several every year and use them for Holiday and special occasion dinners all year. I have 1 piece left that's about 3 lbs so I am going to cook it and take buns and a horseradish sauce to Moms Xmas eve this year. We do a big pot luck for about 30 people. So this year with the ham we are going to do thinly sliced prime rib too. We also look all year for appetizers recipes to take. We have our standard ones that we have made for years but like to add a few new ones each year.

You probably already know of this dip. Most everyone does. We make a dip by browning the sausage and then add a can of rotel tomatoes. After that you add I believe a pound of the Velveeta cheese and melt it down and when finished it's great served with tortilla chips.

I just found your video of appetizers. I make all of these, or someone in my family. Does. The Chex mix is very similar to what my mother makes every year for Christmas. One thing she uses that you do not, are the Bugle chips. This is one of my favorite parts of the party mix. She also adds the stick pretzels. Anyway, thank you so much for bringing back some good memories and getting me ready for the holiday season.

I am eating my own Chex Mix as I watch this! 😁 My mom used to call it "nuts and bolts" and added Cheerios. (I like it better without and don't add them) Yummy!
We had church this morning then went out for a nice lunch. Merry Christmas!

😋 I call it nuts and bolts too 🥰 And I love how you can just pick and choose what you want in them. I'm pretty basic with mine, I don't like a lot of extra stuff in mine 😉 Thanks for watching friend and have a blessed week 💖

I make the Chex mix. Using parkay margarine. Like it way better than butter. And now I’m using Cajun seasoning instead of seasoning salt…. Add some hot sauce too. I do mine in microwave. 6/7 minutes. Stirring every 2 minutes. Saves a time of time. I make easily over 30 batches every year. Lol.

They're actually called "Polish mistakes" because you're not using Polish sausage. 😊

For the sausage balls I have always mixed the cheese and biscuit mix together and then put in the sausage in small clumps and mix by hand until incorporated and it forms a ball. However, now that I am on the way elder side my hands don't do so well so I use the stand mixer with the paddle attachment. It is OK but the hand mixing I think is better if you're able. Thanks for sharing those delicious other recipes especially the mixture on the toast. If you cant find the cocktail bread anymore (i haven't seen it either) may you could buy a loaf of rye bread or the rye and pumpernickel swirl and cut them in 4 pieces. I'll bet the family wouldn't mind a bit if they weren't little squares. 😀 Have a Blessed day.

I've made sausage balls for 30 yrs, since I married my husband. I'd never had them before. They are a staple 3 times a year now, when family gets together. I'm gonna have to try your other recipes, especially infant cpr! 😂😂 they look fantastic!

What you call Infant CPR, we've been making it for years. When my kids were little, they named it dog food since I didn't have a name for it. We use crusty Italian hoagie rolls that we slice like the rye rounds you have. Anytime we have any event, my kids (in their 30s now) and our grand kids and all of their friends have us make it. We even had to get a toaster oven and take our generator if there is no electricity so they are made fresh. If we are just with the family we just use regular sliced crusty italian bread.

Mel, if you want a twist, try it with half butter and half bacon grease. It’s so good! Tip I learned from Miss Daisy who had a tearoom in Nashville years ago. I believe she made it for her husband that way.

Yummy! These all look delicious. I always make Chex mix around the holidays too. A girl at work made a recipe similar to your sausage, velveeta toast. She did 1lb sausage, I jar cheese wiz and put it on top of English muffins and toasted in the oven. They are so delicious! Those taco ranch biscuit bites look so yummy too. I may make these for taco Tuesday soon. I think my kids would enjoy them. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas!

I wish they wouldn't change when they make things. That looks very so good the little cocktail bread. I hope you can find it. I hope they didn't discontinue the item no longer carrying it. It's a shame I don't like when that kind of stuff happens, especially if you've been using it and you really like it and two. it's most likely very popular

I had to laugh at the infant CPR recipe. I love that!! Family jokes are the best! I think everything looks great! I have only had chex mix once, I think, and I didn't like it because of the seasoning salt. I think it has been so long now, that I need to try it again to see if I like it now. Yes, only in this crazy family LOL I usually put more seasonings in mine but this year I just went straight with the recipe measurements and it was still very good.
