Hi Ang. That bread was so gorgeous. I love water chestnuts, so I'm gonna try making those. This was a great video of appetizers. Have a great new week, dear one.
I love your sweet relaxed vibe here. It’s like we are old friends. Very good instructions with options. I am going to do everyone of these👍. I also subscribed 😉
Thank you for those kind words! I’m so humbled and I truly hope to become more acquainted with my TH-cam family. I hope you enjoy the recipes, and welcome!
Oh MY Gosh, These appetizers are so different. I will be making these for Christmas Eve. I am NOT a brie lover, especially because of that outer white rind, but removing it with a potato peeler is brilliant. My mouth is watering just watching you sample each one. Thank you for sharing!!! Merry Christmas!!!
Oh I hope you enjoy them! You’ll have to let me know which ones you made. Adding the white cheddar with the brie is such a great combination. Merry Christmas to you as well!
new to your channel , and these all looked so good , def gonna be making the brie/bread omg , had me drooling, ty for sharing these amazing appetizers with us all
I've been making the bacon chestnut wraps for 30 plus years only the bacon is cut into half and the sauce is catsup brown sugar and garlic powder. They are so addictive! You can make them the day before then warm up. Your recipes look delicious! Edit: I'm making these for Christmas, just found the recipe. Sauce: 1 cup catsup, 2/3 cup brown sugar and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. I bake them at 350 until bacon is done like an hour or so then drain the fat and add the sauce then bake at 250 for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
Definitely an oldie but a goodie appetizer. Thanks for sharing your version, I’ve never used ketchup or garlic powder. It’s simple and I always have those ingredients so I love that! Merry Christmas to you!
Thanks for sharing! I just made the pimento cheese dip and about to start on the bacon wrapped chestnuts. I can hardly wait for them to cook. The cheese dip is awesome!
Love the bread ❤ now I’m going to have to go get me a fresh loaf of sour dough bread pretty sure I have all the ingredients and may try a different version as well with a cranberry jalapeño dip I got from Costco oh yeah that dip is amazing 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
I am going to make these for sure this Christmas. You described everything wonderfully, didn't prattle on too much (thanks, I appreciate that). They look so yummy and DIFFERENT from anything I've ever made before. Cannot wait! Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!
Hey Ang! Just discovered your channel and just subscribed. All of your recipes look delicious! I especially like to see people tasting of their dishes and giving descriptions of the flavors and textures of the foods they prepare. Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to more of your videos. Have a beautiful blessed day. Merry Christmas. From Melissa in the mountains of Virginia. 🙏 ❤
Hi Melissa! Thank you so much for the kind comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’ve always appreciated watching others try their recipes too! It’s the best part to me 😍 Merry Christmas to you! Ps.. the mountains in Virginia sound amazing!
@themenumaid You are very welcome. Yes, it's the best part for me too! I love the expressions on their faces when something is so good. Lol! Thank you! I love our mountains. They really are beautiful. Have a beautiful, blessed night. 🙏 ❤️✝️👑🕊🎄☃️❄️
Hello and thank you for the appetizer recipes. I'll have to try the Salad Supreme Seasoning because you said you liked it so much. I've never seen it before this video. Thanks for the tips! I just subscribed.
This is the third appetizer video of yours I've watched and I have to say, for the most part, I've never heard of most of these appetizers. I must live under a rock, lol But more often than not, I kept finding myself saying... "okay Rose, you have my attention" ( Titanic reference). Long story short, you have a new subby. Love your ideas.
Ha ha! Aww.. well I'm glad you're here and I hope you enjoy the recipes. There is a lot of recipes out there it's hard to know them all. Glad these are new to you.
I totally agree! In this case though, it prevents the sauce from getting thick and sticky which is the best part about the bacon chestnuts, but feel free to leave it in! 😃
Just found your chanel and am looking foward to trying the pimento cheese and meetballs. Have you tried the chicken sandwich with the pimento cheese? Soooo good. Bet this would be good on a home made one.
I made some for Thursday night football game 🏈🏈 THEY WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. I used GV Crescent rolls, 1.98 cent COME ON Pillsbury was Like 3.98 cent 👎👎 GV WAS just as good 👍👍 and a small package of Little smokies, i egg wash them. Sprinkle salt and cheese and Jalapeno powder over them> THEY WAS DONE WITH IN 15 mins YUM Jalapeno powder is my right arm for seasoning things. Like eggs, potato chips, and things
I'm assuming you're talking about the bacon water chestnuts? Yes, you can definitely cover them and keep them warm in the oven, and room temperature is just fine. I like to pop them in my smaller slow cooker after they bake and keep them warm that way. Meatballs the same way. Hope that helps!
While there is not an equal substitute for Brie, you can definitely use other cheeses like mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Gorgonzola, etc.. Hope that helps!
The bread is very unique and perhaps the butter keeps the sauce from soaking the bread ! I DON'T CARE IF YOU EAT WITH YR MOUTH OPEN....I DIDN'T EVE NOTICE 😂
I feel that this lady represents her recipes and techniques very well. She is certainly not the only person I've watched who sampled their finished product. Winnie the Pooh once said, "if you can't say something nice, just say nothing at all.....
The potato peeler on the brie is a fantastic idea, I don't like the skin either. I usually freeze the cheese for 20 or so minutes then saw the rind off with a serrated knife, but I'm definitely trying the potato peeler next time.
Hi Ang. That bread was so gorgeous. I love water chestnuts, so I'm gonna try making those. This was a great video of appetizers. Have a great new week, dear one.
It's super yummy and festive for the holidays! Thanks Cindy!🧡
BTW, I also love love when people taste their food after they've made it. It's very telling, and it's like a mukbang, too.

That bacon grease is liquid gold

Yummy 😋❤
You go ahead and talk with your mouth full. You showed nothing untoward. Merry Christmas to all!
😁 thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well!
I agree you were perfectly fine , wasn’t like there was food coming out of your mouth.

Hi
Can you cover them in oven ?
Can you make ahead of time n eat room temp?

I didn’t see you put in any zest when making meatballs.
Hi there! The zest comes from the orange marmalade 😊
Where is the recipe.
All the links for the recipes are in the description below where it says "read more".
Can you make the first recipe 24 hours in advance
Absolutely!
@@themenumaid Thanks
I'm new to here to this channel. My only criticism is please don't talk with food in your mouth. I like your recipes.
Ha ha! It’s a tough job that’s for sure 😅
YUMMY GOOD 😃😃😆😆❤️
Seriously... Continue to talk just like you do. You are one of us, and that makes you easy to watch.
Sweetie, I saw nothing offensive as you enjoyed your tiny bites and cooed over the yumminess! Some people are just critical. Great video!

That’s a great idea to freeze it first and firm it up a bit. I appreciate that idea too!
