sturm und drang! heavy interpretation, but i prefer it over the more intellectual interpretations of this piece. Not that this isn't smart playing, has alot of nuances and thought in it, but it is also emotional en not affraid to put a little bit of shock in it, wich beethoven defintely had with this first sonata. Auf den Gedanken muss man erst einmal kommen. Immerhin war Gould nicht so geschwätzig und öffentlichkeitssüchtig.
