I told my wife to buy what she wanted. She checked out and test drove several competing brands and models. She chose the XT4. It is better looking than all of its competitors. Cool headlights, great cameras, and excellent Bose sound system. Love the steering wheel.
I really love this car. I prefer it over the XT5 as well. The only thing I like about the XT5 is the high profile tires. This one has lower to match it’s short stance. Either way, I would absolutely consider a Cadillac as my next car with this design language.
Skyforce 213 The XT6 is literally the same thing as the XT4 except it has a slightly more upscale interior, offers comfortable third-row seating for adults, and has a larger & more powerful engine.
I love my XT4, owned for around 8 months. Great power, great blend of luxury/sport ride quality. Downsides: doors rattle when you close them, that shouldnt happen in luxury car, and the base model doesnt have a seat memory. I highly recommend this car
French dude here and I am curious about how Cadillac can make such cool cars (on paper) yet at the same time fall face first when it comes to quality? How hard can it be to make a car that does not have loose pieces of trim dangling everywhere? America beats the rest of the world in most things but the cars, man.
Well first of all Americans like cool looking cars on the outside, while Europeans typically see cars as a mode of transport, not a lifestyle. Cadillac cars nowadays are pretty nice tho, although they were pretty garbage for a while.
@@caelanes Europeans don't really see cars as a mode of transport more than any suburbanite with a chevy tahoe. I don't think Mercedes, Porsche, Audi or BMW cars are hard on the eyes.
@@caelanes Speaking as an American, the opposite is true. Most Americans of working class age see cars as a mode of transport. The only ones who actively seek "cool-looking" cars are enthusiasts, the young new drivers, old men during mid-life crises or retired, and suburban moms looking for a "quirky little car" to drive.
@@SomeThingDunb the answer is easy. GM places profits above all else to include quality. I was a die hard Chevy fan for about 15 years, but I grew tired of the lack of quality in the little things. The last straw was when GM refused to replace my Takata airbag (which they still haven't). Meanwhile Japanese manufacturers have replaced the airbags on their cars.
just bought one. Drives pretty well, think ride will be softer without the 20 inch wheels. wish there is another level of upgrade for sound option. the 13 Bose speakers are decent but not exceptional.
Christine Rawls it’s great on gas! And it shuts off when you stop and turns back on when you let your foot off of the break pedal. It has a button to turn that feature on and off. Better than my 2018 Escalade. Which was about $400 in gas a month. So stupid. Glad it’s gone!
I’ve been looking at a fully-loaded XT4 lately and it’s quite a looker in person. But at $56K, it’s got some weird quirks I’m having a hard time getting onboard with. For starters, the navigation screen is the smallest in the segment at 8”. The Audi Q5 isn’t much larger at 8.8”, but at least it has a 12.3” digital gauge display that’s amazing. Then there’s the power folding mirrors. They’re not automatic. On any Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Volvo, Jaguar, and even Lincoln with power folding mirrors, you can set them to fold automatically when locking a car and unfold when unlocking. Not the case with the XT4. You have to press a button when you exit the car to fold the mirrors and then lock the car. Or you have to remove the key fob from your purse or pocket and hold down the lock button for 3 seconds to fold them. It’s details like that which make me question why GM doesn’t study the luxury market better. I mean, just make the feature work like every other competitor does!
