This may be reading way too into the song and, I truly find it fascinating and comforting that people are people. Human beings have always been like this since the dawn of time. We have writings from the ancents of antiquity that are basically this. Carved into a the peak of a rock an Nordic person from centuries ago wrote "This is High." A roman soldier carved into a rock face "*his name* Was Here." We have stone tablets from the homes of the workers of Egypt that read like a plot of the real house wives. And today we have bathroom stall graffiti. No matter the time period something with in us that binds us all across time and space is this inate desire to declare that we were here, and we mattered. And it may just be me and I find at my loneliest points some real comfort in that knowledge. Love this album for the parts where it's joking around and even more so when it's speaking a truth about humanity.
