Cool video with lots of good info, but the $60 isn't profit. You have to factor the cost of the rig. If it is $1100 as shown in the video, at $60/month mining income it will take 18 months to cover the cost of the rig (1100 / 60 = 18.33).
For the Essential Mining Rig Components: and the Essential Mining Rig Components: esspiicialy for the cables could you add like ( Need X number Per GPU Card) and maybe if you could put timestamps in the video next to the items so the people like me that are new to this can understand what goes where and what is what? That would be EXTREMTLY helpful, plus I think would increase your video ads as people would be rewinding to check and to see what is what. And would be a HUGE help.
If you are going new, in Canada, you can actually purchase 3 X RX6600's($249) for the price of one 3060TI (850-900+) . The 3060TI's are gorgeous but the cost doesn't make it worth in my case where I am currently building a 12 GPU rig. Not apples to oranges but.....you got some really good deals buying on eBay and such, great video to get someone started.
I have preferenced to make "housing heaters", puting only a few fans below, blowing air up to the "fanless GPUs" AMD 6600xt that I took out the fans and got an cheap & low wattage GPU mining 24/7 and heating the house... on each "rig with 4 GPUs", I put an cheaper CPU AMD 3600 that pulls only 65W and make a few bucks more ;) We have to think about the real problem when Winter comes... dont use an 1200W heater, use an 400W RIG and you got: - 3x less power wattage = Less expensive at the end of the month to pay the eletric bill; - Low Wattage + Mining almost every coin = passive income; - Heating house for free; - Easy and Clean Heater setup; - Programable: You can run HiveOS easly and if you configure the Wifi conection on HiveOS, you can have only 1 simple power cable (850W PSU its enough for 4x 6600xt + 3600 CPU), connect to the wall and auto-run!
It all depends on the power fee. Would probably of used a single 1200w server PSU with the ATX. Agree 3060ti is a great card! Other options for budget could be 5700XT, could get 6 for same money, Or if you wanted to be real rogue BC160 are about $130 each, 6 would yield you more crypto and use very similar power (only negative is resale value as only miners buy them)
@@ModernMiningHub That is a very good question! I'm in the UK so higher voltage. I have also used the exact same board in one of my first rigs, very reliable and has not missed a beat in 2 years.
You need solar to supplement your power during the day. If not, it’s so hard to profit. M main GPU miner runs on solar during the day and goes back to regular when no solar. No inverter needed. Proof concept has been on TH-cam for years.
