He was my professor at FIT back in 2001. I learned a lot from him. Awesome teacher and unique style!

What's up with all the cars honking?

This was filmed in NYC and the window was open so you can hear the traffic/cars outside. Just your normal Manhattan drivers and taxis.

Are the Golden High Flows the opaque or transparent ones?
I've never tried them, would be interested how they compare to Liquitex for airbrush & brush work.

I think they are the opaque. I'm actually seeing Dave on Sunday so I can ask him.

@@kamenliter Cool. I can get the Liquitex semi transparent to allow the drawing to show through and blend nicely with the paint. it would be nice to try some traditional airbrush paint tho that can be used straight from the bottle, cheers.

Hi again, I did see Dave, but completely forgot to ask him! I messaged him later, though, and his reply was just that he was good with using both types.

The Golden Airbrush Paint was used as Dave describes here, with regular brushes by a lot of folks and was also found to work well in pens and other non airbrush ways so Golden dropped the term "airbrush" from the name and it is now called "High Flow" and it is indeed badass.
