    if the lines around the iris aren't separated enough use just the mix node. mixrgb gone

    Would be nice if this could be done on a flat object, since most anime eye mesh is flat I believe.

    just wish there was a little more detail in the adjustments that are being made, moves a bit quick with the cuts, hard tot tell what color ramp is being switched to

    This is incredibly SICKK!!! But a question how do I get the bottom faces to wrap around the eye also??

    • @gulbisdaniels
      @gulbisdaniels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! The faces here are just like a placeholder eyelids/eye sockets, so you can kinda estimate how would this eyeball shader look for your character design. If you want to create a character with a "more proper eye socket :D " I suggest you watch these series on how to create a character head - th-cam.com/video/6U-5ovoecfc/w-d-xo.html

    So I cannot apply any of the eyelid modifiers to do what I want with the mesh. Ex. (mirror modifier) "cannot be applied to a mesh with shape keys". Is there a way around this, to keep the eye opening animation while being able to apply modifiers for more mesh manipulation??

    • @gulbisdaniels
      @gulbisdaniels  ปีที่แล้ว

      as far as I know, the mirror modifier should be applied to a mesh before adding a shape key if you want the mesh to be asymmetrical or add extra detail :(
      These eyelids tho are a quick way to present the eyeball, for a more proper eye socket/eyelid i suggest modeling or sculpting the mesh, finishing the details and then add shape keys. Can also use armature for animating eyes
