Absolute truth. I am sociopath who does hate hurting people, because I reflect dark feelings to myself. I never had any friend who could constantly stay with me for 3+ months, I am unreliable, and only those who understand that sometimes I just fold into nowhere - I'm fine, I will be back if needed, only they could be my friends. I dissapear for a month, and then I'm back as if nothing actually happened. It's very very important to your health to stand aside sociopaths when you feel like you got close to them in relationship, but they seem to not care or see. It's dangerous not only to people who's in contact with sociopath, but to sociopaths as well, if they are HSP, etc.

You can sift through the charm yourself (if you have experience). It's kind of like the "pied piper's song", once you know it, it doesn't effect you as strongly anymore. You just have to remain calm and realize everything they do is fake, a disney villain level ploy, an illusion to con you, or reality fabrication for their personal benefit. (everything they do is to win or gain for themselves) Also, realize that everyone else around you will probably still be charmed. Friends, family, even your own dog will love them. That's just how it is. A good example of this is "ressa tessa, who the f did I marry?" tik tok story (on youtube too). Her hubby is a sociopath.

Sociopathic goblin XD But seriously - motives are the most important here. Introverts just try to be polite. Psychopath try to take over the world. Sociopath can try to make some plots
There are 2 kinds of empathy. Emotional kind of and cognitive kind of. One can be a sociopath but choose to do the right thing using cognitive empathy. But it might be hard if the sociopath isn't self aware. And without self awareness it is hardly possible to change behaviour bc one wouldn't see why or when. Excitement would be a good one bc they struggle with boredom and would do anything to balance it out.

Tbh I'm incredibly hot and cold, but it's not intentional per se. Me being cold is either because 1) I have no social energy left or 2) I trust you to know me well enough, to know that I care about you and don't want to leave you even if I'm silent for some time. Might still be a bit callous though, because I do know people can get worried because of me taking so long to answer. But my goal isn't to get them worried, and if I notice they do, I answer sooner to reassure them that I'm still there. Socialising just tends to be somewhat exhausting.
As a sociopath, stuff like this is both very comforting, and painful at the same time. I am guilty of many things in this video, but I obviously don’t do these things out of malice. I don’t love bomb, or play into peoples wants on purpose, and I don’t just do it to gain a edge over then or anything, I do genuinely care for the people I do this with, and this is simply how I behave, because I know it makes them feel better, even if it “isn’t” really me. Which is another thing that is strange, I can’t say when I behave to someones wants that im fully “pretending” or “not being myself”, because in a way, that pretending is who I am. It’s a pretty damning thing to struggle with when im alone, who I “actually” am. In truth, I have not the damnest idea, I could answer questions about myself sure, but those answers may change based off how im feeling in the moment, or simply because ive been around different people recently. Im not really sure why im ranting here or for what purpose, not like anyone will see this anyways, but I did want to try to give my view. I honestly hate being this way, and struggle with a lot of self hatred. Even in moments like this, It almost feels like im putting a act on to myself, in some strange way that im really not sure how to describe.
I relate to this quite a lot, especially the part about the “pretending”/“not being *myself*” is truly a part of who I am. Also with the not doing it purpose, I do it on purpose because I care about or like somebody so that they will like me and be able to open up more, which makes it easier to know the right things to say to support them. Reason being empathy is very much on a switch for me and I tend to think through emotions instead of feeling them properly.
wowwwwwww i thought he was like a narcissist perhaps.. but all these traits is exactly what i experienced since last december to last week.. i always feel restless and like my body is in survival mode and i cry all the time thinking if something is wrong with me or i did something wrong.. he gives reassurance but his actions show otherwise.. he says one thing but his action is saying different things.. and he said he's not a good communicator but he seemed to be using his words fine.. it's his actions that doesn't aligned.. ofc im self reflecting if i accidentally do this to anybody, as far as i can think of, i think there hasn't been anyone im not genuinely want to be in connection with.. but at least with this guy,i actually noticed the lovebombing pretty soon like in two weeks.. so i didn't let myself get too attached.. glad i was aware bc even not feeling attached much, im still so miserable..cant imagine if i had let all my guards down
Good to know after the corona virus I grew up to be a sociopath. But it's not my fault I don't feel strong emotions anymore and have to fake it for people
I relate to these traits soo much, I use them to my advantage in my everyday life. When I was younger I couldn't get the attention from girls that I wanted, now I can get them do all of my wants.
idk about the compliment thing. compliments feel like an obligation to respond back. i've been told before "you don't really take compliments well." they don't particularly feel good, but i will admit it feels good if it's on something i care about and feel proud of.
Hey, I am undergoing therapies for depression and depression related other issues. I have noticed that I am showing all these characteristics strongly, it's not on purpose, it's like a reflex. Can someone help me figure it out? I am on a road to fixing myself. Thank you
So, this video has me a little confused about myself. I have Aspergers, but i also know that i do things listed in this video. I've also had people comment that i come across as a socio/psycho path, but I've never put stock into it as they're not experts or studying psychology. I've never been good at emotions, either conveying or recognizing how i feel. I've been ostracized before because of this so...i studied people around me, learned, adapted. I even took theater just to get better at this. I used to be... blank? I only really showed emotion when it was high. You'd never know i was happy unless i was laughing, sad unless i was crying, etc. Anger has always been weird, i just get frustrated never actually angry.
If an introvert somehow BECOMES an sociopathic person that alone will be terrifyingly traumatizing because they can study the person 200% more then normal people
What if someone feels emotions but only when it’s something that affects them? Like…not being sad for others but being sad for yourself if something bad happens to YOU? Just trying to figure out what this person is. Or is that just narcissism?
@@lumin6464 well yes I’m saying in the context of this video though…would a sociopath not be a sociopath if they felt strong emotions but only towards themselves?
I've noticed that in other videos from this channel, they usually talk about "you" having those symptoms, but when they are talking about more stigmatised mental disorders, such as narcissism or aspd, they say "they" may have these symptoms. It can be quite a harmful mindset to have
Hello, I never commented on a video before, I wanted to request a video about how this sort of personality could be treated please. I've been isolating myself in a tremendous self reflection when I identified with something around de dark triad, and I'm trying to get professional help for my, recently acknowledged, low empathy. I never noticed that the things I do for the others had more to do about my expectations that could benefit me insted of genuine interest for the other, like being loved, and I don't think I should be ashamed of me in such a negative way since I also tricked Myself with a false narrative
sociopathy is a very broad term, a weird behavior learned through trauma so it can be literally anything, it not like a disease you can diagnose, it can be a dangerous criminal or a women who always cheats in relationships, or thief who never changes no matter how many chances you give - just translate it as "pathological social skills ". Basically anything that's not acceptable in society goes under sociopath label (at least that's how it started out). You know that toxic woman you think you can fix - sociopath.
Yk you described one of my past friends and this is kinda worrying, idek what I'm supposed to do with this information given that I'm not friends with this person anymore.
If there is one reason why Sociopaths can manipulate you by letting you do all the talking is because everybody can get caught up in talking about themselves. It's not just a rude gesture to make the conversation always about you. It's also going to backfire if you're going to tell a sociopath all about who you are so they can have enough information on how to really manipulate you. You need to be careful not tell them too much and give them the chance to tell about themselves, or at the very least, leak out some hints that you can use to know if you're dealing with a sociopath.
I definately do some of these, but I'm autistic and was caught with that very early. I find NTs love talking about themselves so much that it's hard not to do the fourth thing a lot. Fake emotions are needed sometimes because a lot of people are really stupid about their real beliefs (like anti-vax people that are not due to legit conditions or allergies). Seriously, otherwise, I'd sometimes be way to tempted to just literally slap sense into people if I didn't fake some other emotion to hold down that thought.
3/6 Things not on the list: I feel emotions, often too much. I don’t know how to play hot and cold and I wouldn’t like to play it. Things on the list: I am quite assertive when it comes to my own opinions but will mostly agree when I don’t think bad of the person’s own opinions even if they aren’t inherently in line with my own. I’ve kept others talking as I thought I’m more the silent, listening type. I love complimenting people and the way they react. Hmmm Interesting
😂😂dude wait whaaat?? You Just described me but im actually doing this not to trick people but because i like to see people feeling better and nice that's all trust me so it doesn't implies on everyone maybe it depends on the intentions of each individual
I'm a sociopath I guess, I had a feeling it wasn't normal to do this. Other people have genuine emotions whereas I can only fake feel it. I wish I could feel the emotions like how others experience it and react genuinely like them, it gets tiring always being in a 'role'.
human behaviour is not that simple to understand it's very ambigious and just having some traits doesn't really make them a manipulative sociopath...people are just people with all range of emotions and traits so please don't form assumptions about anyone based on your knowledge you gained from this video.. But anyways great video as always♥
It’s misinformation ! How can you even see that ? 😂🤣😂 It’s totally manipulation ! Watch different perspectives about them by Micky Atkins, notsoErudites ! You will see 😂😂
I might get lost in this comment section but through my personal experience I don't have an "official" diagnose (mainly cus all the psychologist I've been to I had to explain to them stuff more than helping but wtvr, the most close to official i have might be Asperger's but anyway) however, there's been just way too much time for me to realize that at least I have high sociopathic tendencies (among a lot of other stuff) and all I wanted to say from my point of view it's, I haven't always been like this, and in order to become like this some horrible stuff had to happen, so yeah, we do use manipulation and all that but not necessarily 'cause we're evil darklords of society playing chess with people, some of us (and as how I understand the disorder, most of us) we've been hurt so much to the point of NEEDING to resort to all that, and shut down emotions and focus solely in self-preservation. I'm not saying tho that we're off to do all the shitty stuff that sociopaths and others do to people, I'm actually in favor of people being able to protect themselves emotionally but when you're stripping away from someone or when you feel tretened by anyone like this (to some extend obviously, there's indeed sociopaths and psychopaths that use that stuff for same horrible stuff, y'all know what I mean), yes, priorize yourself, however, remember we all just people that are the way they are by the things we lived through, or didn't get to live through whatsoever, anyway, thx for reading this, have a great day
Patrick Bateman is a psychopath, though. And most of these signs are more of psychopaths than sociopaths, but that’s because even the term sociopath is better seen than being a psychopath, because of the whole serial killer monster evil stereotype of it. Not saying that these signs can’t determinate a sociopath, but, even the comments agree, that this type of sociopathy (is that a word?) isn’t really common and not talked about often, because most sociopaths aren’t like this, and care less about charming people, fitting in in a group and all that. Because psychopaths and sociopaths tend to have similarities (lack of genuine empathy and lack of regret and others ) and every case is unique, nowadays you’re more drawn to simply be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder rather than specifically a sociopath or a psychopath
I relate to three of these traits, but I am also just rather afraid of my self and also playing the warm cold game with my self, as I don't get much attention, so keeping my self entertained
I have all these behaviours, but I literally do not know how to stop them. Alot tell you to "just be yourself" but idk what that even means. I'm so sure i'm not sociopath though
well other traits don't match but I perform emotions in order to survive in my toxic friend and relative circle. but when people aren't toxic I behave naturally

wowwwwwww i thought he was like a narcissist perhaps.. but all these traits is exactly what i experienced since last december to last week.. i always feel restless and like my body is in survival mode and i cry all the time thinking if something is wrong with me or i did something wrong.. he gives reassurance but his actions show otherwise.. he says one thing but his action is saying different things.. and he said he's not a good communicator but he seemed to be using his words fine.. it's his actions that doesn't aligned.. ofc im self reflecting if i accidentally do this to anybody, as far as i can think of, i think there hasn't been anyone im not genuinely want to be in connection with.. but at least with this guy,i actually noticed the lovebombing pretty soon like in two weeks.. so i didn't let myself get too attached.. glad i was aware bc even not feeling attached much, im still so miserable..cant imagine if i had let all my guards down
You give the best information and clues ngl ,
And you made my day by the furina plushie
Woah, I’m early! ❤
I really don't know that I am a sociopath after seeing this video I know that I am sociopath this video is helping me
Good to know after the corona virus I grew up to be a sociopath. But it's not my fault I don't feel strong emotions anymore and have to fake it for people
Now I knew it.. I have been manipulated by one guy...he got the all same quitlity said in the video...😩🌻✨
I relate to these traits soo much, I use them to my advantage in my everyday life. When I was younger I couldn't get the attention from girls that I wanted, now I can get them do all of my wants.
like what
@@m420-nd1if 🙄 It should be very obvious... I treat them like my person pet assistants 🤭.

Thank you for the consistent uploads!!
I share some of these traits, however, I’m autistic so I am going to sum it up to that.
idk about the compliment thing. compliments feel like an obligation to respond back. i've been told before "you don't really take compliments well." they don't particularly feel good, but i will admit it feels good if it's on something i care about and feel proud of.
No amount of love bombing will make me stick around once you go hot and cold I will go cold ❄️🥶 forever
On today's episode of, "Am I A Sociopath, Or Is It Just Autism?"...
Tout ce qu’ils racontent sont faux ! Faites attention ! Et je ne suis pas la seule !
Guess who found 2 sociopaths in their lives ❤❤❤
Hey, I am undergoing therapies for depression and depression related other issues.
I have noticed that I am showing all these characteristics strongly, it's not on purpose, it's like a reflex.
Can someone help me figure it out? I am on a road to fixing myself. Thank you
I just noticed my behavior is getting closer and closer to that of a sociopath.
Today's episode of "am I just autistic and weird or am I also a sociopath"?
Once again does depression answer no
2:11 furinaaaa also the topic about sociopaths are pretty interesting
I’m surprised you didn’t use Char Aznable for this one, but perfect video as always!
I think this is what really happened with me... I couldn't understand for months and may be years .. but now I do .
Thanks, now I get checked for sociopathy
2:10 I may be a sociopath, but I will always genuinely love Furina
Not every sociopath is a bad person , but every psychopath is
90% sure psychopathy is defined by a total absence of emotions from birth, and not by being evil
Not Dexter, lol
@@Nola5427 haha we can make exception
@@lumin6464 i think most distinguishable is lack of guilt and fear, which honestly... ought to feel awesome being a God.
Rut row raggy.
I delved itoo deep into the rabbit hole again!
Now I think I'm potentially a sociopath
Ah yes my favorite emotion to use in social situations: Roblox Man Face
If an introvert somehow BECOMES an sociopathic person that alone will be terrifyingly traumatizing because they can study the person 200% more then normal people
Wow, so my ex was a sociopath. I knew it. 😅
What if someone feels emotions but only when it’s something that affects them? Like…not being sad for others but being sad for yourself if something bad happens to YOU?
Just trying to figure out what this person is. Or is that just narcissism?
it’s the absence of empathy
multiple conditions can come with that particular quality
@@lumin6464 well yes I’m saying in the context of this video though…would a sociopath not be a sociopath if they felt strong emotions but only towards themselves?
I've noticed that in other videos from this channel, they usually talk about "you" having those symptoms, but when they are talking about more stigmatised mental disorders, such as narcissism or aspd, they say "they" may have these symptoms. It can be quite a harmful mindset to have
Excellent work psych2go
Hello, I never commented on a video before, I wanted to request a video about how this sort of personality could be treated please.
2:11 HELP MY BABY FURINA OMG😭😭
2:12 furina plushie!!?!?!?
I will use these lessons to better manipulate my enemies!
Using the tactics for a great cause.
@@Psych2go I will rule the world!
Thank you, I have learned something important...
sociopathy is a very broad term, a weird behavior learned through trauma so it can be literally anything, it not like a disease you can diagnose, it can be a dangerous criminal or a women who always cheats in relationships, or thief who never changes no matter how many chances you give - just translate it as "pathological social skills ". Basically anything that's not acceptable in society goes under sociopath label (at least that's how it started out). You know that toxic woman you think you can fix - sociopath.
Thank you.
Yk you described one of my past friends and this is kinda worrying, idek what I'm supposed to do with this information given that I'm not friends with this person anymore.
2:20 that Roblox face lmaooo
3/6
Things not on the list:
I feel emotions, often too much.
I don’t know how to play hot and cold and I wouldn’t like to play it.
Things on the list:
I am quite assertive when it comes to my own opinions but will mostly agree when I don’t think bad of the person’s own opinions even if they aren’t inherently in line with my own.
I’ve kept others talking as I thought I’m more the silent, listening type.
I love complimenting people and the way they react.
Hmmm
Interesting
2:20 wait a minute isn’t one of the masks the Roblox man face
Ha! My self esteem is way too low for tricks like these! I'll just assume everyone is making insincere compliments!
I can't thinking about
My friends significant others, damn. I should have trusted my gut instead of self gaslighting.
Makes more sense
Me and my BPD thoughts: now, now, let's see if you're a sociopath.
😂😂dude wait whaaat?? You Just described me but im actually doing this not to trick people but because i like to see people feeling better and nice that's all trust me so it doesn't implies on everyone maybe it depends on the intentions of each individual
is nobody going to mention the man face at 2:20?
It’s totally manipulation !
I'm not saying tho that we're off to do all the shitty stuff that sociopaths and others do to people, I'm actually in favor of people being able to protect themselves emotionally but when you're stripping away from someone or when you feel tretened by anyone like this (to some extend obviously, there's indeed sociopaths and psychopaths that use that stuff for same horrible stuff, y'all know what I mean), yes, priorize yourself, however, remember we all just people that are the way they are by the things we lived through, or didn't get to live through whatsoever, anyway, thx for reading this, have a great day
The furina doll 😆😆😆😆
I do these unintentionally (except for no.3 I dont do that)
Wait, people just automatically have empathy? The hell??
Can you please make a video about manipulative parents plzzzzzzzzzzz❤
Yep! We have one on toxic parentings. Did you get a chance to watch it?
I relate to three of these traits, but I am also just rather afraid of my self and also playing the warm cold game with my self, as I don't get much attention, so keeping my self entertained
I have all these behaviours, but I literally do not know how to stop them. Alot tell you to "just be yourself" but idk what that even means. I'm so sure i'm not sociopath though
