TBH I think Honda's like the Em1, the S2K, the Type S, the Dc2 GSR/Type R are gonna be incredibly valuable in coming years.. They are relatively rare already. In 10-20 years from now, clean specimens are probably gonna command big money. These are the last real generations of NA Honda's without a ton of Electronic intervention.. Thats why I love my 06 Type S and AP2.. A tad modern, but still retains that analogue feel..

NICE!!!!! Ive got a EM1 with 40,000 miles on it. I bought the car brand new from honda back in 1999. At the time i was 18 and decided to fix the car up and went a little overboard, even doing a compleat color change from Red to white. Ive just now got the car back to diving conditions, due to the fact i got my driving privilege's taken away for 10 years. Its got air ride, compleat system installed by AJ Audio ( even had the Kenwood VZP907 touch screen TV they came out with way back then) some engin modifications, CTR head lights, carbon fiber hood, ect.... so many extras to list. I like what see keep it up. Its nice to see an EM1 get worked on with so much detail. In my eyes theirs nothing like a EM1.

If you use the mini cooper rotor you don't need the spacer behind the rotor with the spoon calipers. I guess the spoon rotor is similar to the prelude 11in rotor with regards to spacing for the knuckle. For the rear brakes, the upgrade is the Ep3 4x100 Civic Si rotor with an Integra Type R rear caliper or RSX/Ep3 calipers. EP3 calipers will end up being mounted in the opposite orientation, so the L caliper will be on the Right and vice versa, but the ITR will fit without that issue

You are validating everything I did on my 94 Civic when I did the suspension. I almost got the reverse mount tie rod ends but I heard bad things about them so I didn't. I kept the inner tie rods, they seemed fine and I just replaced the outer. I stuck with the OE forks. I replaced the lower ball joints with standard ones. It feels fine I wouldn't use the ones you have, plus you have to tear apart all the work you did to do them. If you were going to do that you should have done it first. I replaced pretty much every bushing, end link and bearing on the suspension and the car feels very stable and steering response is great. I just went with Skunk2 because I don't have $15k for a Civic suspension. Ride is firm but not harsh, worth the effort and price. I pretty much am doing the poor mans version of your project. It's a lot of work but rewarding. Next I'm doing the Gates racing timing belt, water pump, and Koyo tensioner. After that I need to sort the trans and clutch and mechanically I'm done with the car.

  • @Patrick94GSR

Basically what the roll center adjuster ball joint does is increase the total height of the knuckle, effectively moving the hub upwards. This makes the car sit lower by itself. It becomes sort of like a drop spindle. Then you raise the spring perch a corresponding amount to get back where you were. That improves the angle of the LCA’s with respect to the ground, and also allows for more damper compression travel. However upper clearance under the shock tower can be an issue, especially with those oversized upper control arms. Just watch that upper pinch seam up under the fenders. Often people will trim the fender liner and hammer that seam flat for more clearance.

Is the hardrace inner tie rod you bought identical to oem inner tie rod or are they designed for the reverse tie rod of hardrace? I am planning to buy the oe style hardrace tie rod and wanted to buy the hardrace inner tie rod, too. I don't know if the oe style will bolt on into the inner tie rod since I am thinking that the inner tie rod is designed for the reverse tie rod? Any answer is much appreciated.
