I absolutely love your videos, your presentation is so lovely. All of your handcrafted items are beautiful. I use the freedom soy wax and absolutely hate it. I wanted to give 464 a try but have been put off by all the negative comments about it. You have given me the confidence to give it a try, thank you for the informative video 😊💐
Please give it a go. I had honestly 100s of bad ones until I worked on my process. Also make sure you really pay attention to the temperature as that’s the most important. When you check temperature make sure you give the wax a mix as the temp on top differs from what’s below. As I say in the video, write down what you did so you can do it right each time and I make mine when no one is around so I can be sure in the process. This month alone I think I’ve sold around $1800 in candles at markets so once you master it you will be fine. All of mine burn well to and I’ve had no complaints at all

It’s amazing the differences in temps with this wax, I heat mine to 90c add my FO at 85c stir for 2 minutes and pour at 75 - 70c.... my FO is usually between 6-8%. Smooth tops always, Both hot and cold throw is fab! Only have had issues on the reset is I don’t have the correct size wick.

Turn your warmer on low and leave it for 1-2 hours to melt slowly - this gives the best results then check the temp is right fir your wax 464 heat to 80-120 degrees or so . Celsius then ad 8-10% fragrance and pour at 75 degrees

Thank you. It’s called a booster. It’s only needed on large candles to help with heat distribution
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery Thank you. I might go and read up on that.
Curious why you made the shift to coconut wax? What was the benefit? I’m still exploring waxes.
Because pure soy is tricky and does not love the heat. Coconut also creates a longer slower burn.

How do you prevent the fragrance oil beads from collecting at the top once the candle has set?
If that is happening it usually means you either added to much fragrance or you did not mix it well enough for the wax molicules to take hold
