So glad to hear someone actually be honest about how much work goes into making candles. I also make candles, and it annoys me how so many ppl think it's simply melting wax n adding scent... SO FAR FROM REALITY.. lol. And wicks can be fickle no matter what kind they are. I love your videos. Always enjoyable 😘 I also give my customers a % discount for any candle containers they return. It reduces my cost of jar purchases and keeps them out of landfills as well❤

I wish more, larger companies would offer a "take back" program like you do with the candle jars..I think it would cut down on so much waste in landfills.
Chronic Butterfly yes! Or use containers that can be repurposed. Many of my customers keep their empty candle jars because they are perfect to store objects in them: jewelry, elastics, trombones, pencils, nails, etc!

Hello from Mid-Wales, I really love❤️❤️ the idea of reusing the glass candle🔥🔥 jars and giving a store credit for bring them back into your shop. I truly love watching your videos...
Oh my god. Been thinking of starting my own candle making business and ideas on how to attract customers. When you stated at 12:51 that you take the jars back once people have used them for in-store credit. I had the same idea beforehand! Giving customers 5-10% off their next purchase for each jar they bring back or send back. I'm not so original anymore :(
Thank you for your tips and insight. I stopped making candles a few years back because the cotton type wicks annoyed me, but I love making candles so decided to re-introducing my candle line using wood wicks instead. I can't wait to get started again as soon as supplies arrive.
I just recently started venturing into wood wick for my soy candles. My daughter loves the sound. However I didn't know to buy the booster wood wick. That will be my next purchase.

I'm a newbie and have many questions LOL - of course! 1. Why did you use 2 wicks in each candle? 2. Why did you pour the wax over the wicks? Is that important to do? 3. What temperature was your heat gun set to? Sorry, so many questions!!
I absolutely love you! I just found you about a month ago. I ordered some of your soap. They are AMAZING! I love the scent, the color, the feel, everything! You are a beautiful, wonderful talented lady!

I like that you put your candle jars on the scale to ensure they're the same weight. I'll keep that in mind for future reference
I noticed that as well.

I’ve heard that if the size of your wick is too small for your jar, it might not lit
might be too much fragrance/essential oils. no more than 6-8% fragrance when using soy wax
