They all feel so in-character! The differences are everything: Soldier punching the ground, Medic's gasp bringing a hand to his mouth, Pyro and Scout being the ones who sob, Sniper trying to hold back and stay professional, Spy feeling embarrassed afterwards, it's all so good!

What I love the most is how in-character they all are, for real! Soldier screams in rage and pain, Pyro cries like a child, Spy displays sadness but quickly pats himself into his usual demeanor, Medic seems taken aback and lost. This is perfect, it NEEDS to be added, idc when but it just HAS TO, great job!
always appreciate when taunts stay true to the characters, especially when it's an all-class taunt they could've all just had an over-the-top grieving animation, but instead they all get something more in-line with how each of them would act. particularly love how little the medic actually seems to care. scout's and demo's are a bit weaker in that regard imo, but they're still good and well-animated and such. no idea how much thought was actually put in and could totally be overanalyzing as i often do, but i still think it's neat ^^'
Ah yeah. Me and kosta struggled making concepts for some classes as we based the animations on the saddest voiceline the character had. Some didn't really ''crying'' voice lines so we had to improvise a little :^)
@@CacaoDrawzStuff actually, that wasn't the issue i had with demo's. thinking about it, it isn't really that it's out of character for him, it's more that the others feel like they have more general use cases, while demo's feels more specific to me, when i think it'd still fit his character if it was more general, particularly on grieving a loss of someone or something, especially considering the emotional drunk thing. it's not a big deal, i'm just a massive stickler for details honestly :p
I like Scout’s and Demo’s, I personally think all of them were pretty in character. Demo’s taunt definitely feels like something he would do while drunk, and Scout’s being so similar to Spy’s is what sells it for me. Like father like son.

Duuuude! The animation is spot on. Even valve's own taunts seem a little, hammy or too bouncy? Hard to describe, but your animation fits the mercs' body languages perfectly! Very well made

Finally, some actual taunts and not a bunch of baby cars for Mercenaries. It's literally the opposite of "Schadenfreude" and i love it. Crying on how bad your team is(matchmaking sucks) in comparison to enemy, crying how you've lost your only Medic, Getting cornered by whole enemy team, Observe how every single one of your team just died and you couldn't help them, because you're the slowest class it's just as many situations as with laughing taunt. I have a new ideas for an All Class taunts: _"Idle Animation"_ (Basically a special taunt for all classes which makes them do something while they're not fighting) Like Spy leaning onto a wall, smoking a cigarette and looking around while doing so. Same with other classes. Scout could "fight" with the air by using Bat as if he's practicing baseball hits Or make him sit on the ground and do that animation from "Meet the Scout" where he sits on a Heavy's unconscious body and eating his Sandwich and looking around. I don't know that Soldier might do, but *Pyro* - _I've had enough of his taunts, they're too childish for a pyromaniac psycho like him._ As an example of what he could do while in idle: Sharpen his Axe, Fill his Flamethrower with Gasoline, Play with enemy team's Heads, Just watch how some corpse is burning while laughing horrifyingly at it.
