The detail that scout raises his pinkie whilst drinking is so small but wonderful, it shows he still kept some of the skills he learned in expiration date lmao
Now that you mention it, I'm a bit disappointed to see sniper not raise his pinky. Since he already does that with melee weapons

Any taunt that involves the mercs having unique animations showing off their personalities is an absolute win on my book.
Love how scout drinks from a solo cup and crushed it when empty, but still keeps his pinky out all fancy like how spy taught him lmao
FR external canon media references in the most subtle ways are TF2’s specialty,this taunt should no doubt be added at some point if only because of the small details.
He even shows it off like “see? Im doing it, spy”
The worst part about this taunt is that it's literally the perfect summer update taunt. If it had come out just a bit earlier, it's almost guaranteed that this would have made it into the game.

Tbh that's a good taunt for tf2. It CAN be used as an actual taunt to the enemy you just killed and it looks pretty nice. Really hope that it gets in the game.

I actually LOVE how you can see Pyro drinking from a gas can, but then you realize he has a mask on so he was just acting.

If it was a partner taunt then there could be clinking sound effect when the glasses strike each other, which I think would be very very cool. still really like this taunt regardless though

This not only looks good and crisp, but it's brimming with personality and can be used as an actual taunt for when you kill someone. This NEEDS to be added to the game!

I love how the sound they make depend on class type they're in :
-Offense get moderate chugging
-defense get loud gulping
-support get gentle sipping

soldier’s got a canteen. traditionally would contain water, but who knows what he has in there.
demo’s got a hip flask. usually hard liquor, like whiskey or rum.

engie’s also got alcohol, the name of the specific type it looks like escapes me

I love how most taunts represent the mercenaries personality. It's what makes them so great.
I think some of them are a little bit too animated
Engineer spinning his beer like a pistol is my favourite one.
It's just such an unnecessarily Texan thing to do and I love that.
Edit: I also love how instead of waiting for Valve-quality content, we're making it ourselves, even down to the presentation videos. Bravo!

They missed the opportunity for it
My only complaint is that Engie's and Spy's taunts don't have a shattering glass sound effect when their bottles/wine glasses hit the ground. Other than that minor detail I love everything about this (especially Medic's foam-stache)

Really like this, this is all well done! Only nitpick(its my preference/missed opportunity) is that in Poker Night, it is implied that Heavy is a lightweight drinker, that even carbonation makes him dizzy. He orders a peach Bellini and it would had been awesome if he had one here. But I guess that all depends on whether you think Poker Night is canon or not. I'm not diminishing your work, this is still really great and I'd love to see it in game!
well heavy does canonically have a PHD in Russian literature and he does say it in Poker Night, Oh and Heavy does say he'll turn Max into a hat, and so fourth we have Max's bunny head for a TF2 hat so idk

Two things, I like that Demo has a flask as a backup to him typically drinking from his Scrumpy Bottle. And that Demo and Heavy share drinking sound effects since they share the same VO
More of a taunt than an emote and has excellent attention to detail. The Medic one alone makes me really want this added.
Would be awesome also to have a version where they could cheers together as a partner taunt

@ItsRolie567 it probably has alcohol to help dealing with pain from fights and since this taunt is a sort of celebration I highly doubt it contains water
Now we just need an animation of Saxton Hale shotgunning a barrel of beer.

I like this taunt a lot! The only way I thought it would be any better is if it were a partner taunt, like the high five, flip, or headbutt.
This is one of the best looking and most fitting all class taunt that i’ve seen. I love that they all have different drinks and animations.
Not only a FANTASTIC collection of taunts that all fit their respective characters perfectly, but a very tasteful Better Call Saul reference. I love that montage with Jimmy.
Honestly I’m losing my mind at these; especially at medic just pulling that huge mug out of literal hammer space and scout crushing it on his head. Fab!
It's a little odd that spy discards his wine glass in such a careless way, he might get wine dregs on his suit! Other than that, an absolute top-tier taunt. Great work!!

I love how some taunts are just taunts for all classes. E.g: The Schadenfraude - Engineer melee taunt with wrench; This taunt - Melee Demoman taunt with bottle
wow, those drink items are extremely well-modeled. I especially like the sniper's thermos, the pyro's gas can, and heavy's transparent glass bottle of presumably vodka. It would be neat if there was a normal, singular taunt (the one in the video) and then a partner action one (two people sharing a drink, using the same models) and a group one (like the conga, anyone can join in, passive standing around and then you could hit left click to drink and end your taunt)

I personally LOVE that each class has their own unique bottle, each animation is filled to the brim with charm and if this were added i'd almost feel wrong to not use it. I think this is a great taunt and really hope it gets added.

I normally avoid microtransactions in games, but I couldn't help myself. I had to buy this.
I love how the only class whose lines felt natural was the pyro, who doesn't actually speak with any more clarity than indistinct mumbles.
