The bushwalker is a very cool taunt, but I feel like it's _too good_ . That bush, even with the flowers, would blend in too well some many maps making hiding very easy. If a taunt has too much of a practical use it goes into pay-to-win territory.
Agreed. The best fix in my opinion would be to have sniper's hat or head and hat poking slightly out of the top at all times, which would also make sense because that's a pretty short bush.
@@sithrulezz423 Well, to be fair if the sniper is competant, he'll kill you from any sightline as long as he sees you first, so it'll be snipers trying to hide like spies and getting killed by the people who know the maps. Most bushes are barely big enough to hide sentries, but it could be a funny way to hide stuff teammates put down, like Sticky traps, or sentries.
Unlike the boxtrot, the idle animation had movement and voicelines. So you'd definitely notice a bush when it looks left and right and mumbles snipery things
My favorite gimick was to hide in the bushes of pl_barnblitze as a 'bushman' with the Sydney Sweeper + Australian-y cosemetics so I think the taunt would be really fun if only for the pun.

you know what would help enhance the bushwalker taunt from being too practical is if the sniper's hat sits on top of the bush to give it away just a tad so it's not too good of a hiding spot. just gotta look for the bush moving and the hat. would love it in situations where people are just being funny, pyro walks up to the bush only to have the funky australian pop out and scream at him with the flaire and the pyro just kill binds and read in chat "Jumpscared"

I think they should release community cosmetics and maps during Easter. After October and December, we have to wait till summer to get anything, I think we should have some sort of in between to keep the player base breathing. (Or maybe a major update)
The Bushwalker, Mann in a Can and coffin taunt all share the same issue (to varying degrees): They lack team recognizability. If a taunt covers up the player like they do, the prop itself needs to make it obvious at a first glance which team they belong to. The Bushwalker has teamcoloured flowers on it, which is a really smart way to do it but might be a little too subtle ingame, the Mann in a Can has very slight changes on the bin based on the players team, but they are way too subtle across the board and the coffin taunt has no team recognizability to it whatsoever - the interior is teamcoloured, which doesn’t matter in the slightest, because what people will be looking at is the exterior. This is what I feel holds them back from making it into the game. The Bushwalker might be fine, but the other two need adjustments made to them to address this.
The coffin has different colors depending on the team. As for the Bushwalker, I guess it could be different flower colors. I got no real solution for Man in a can but you got my point. It's a sneaky taunt. Team recognizability must be here. But it must be subtle.
Perhaps could make the colors stand out more on the flowers for the bush? or just add a few more flowers or make them a bit bigger? For the trash can, perhaps tint the cans or add some sort of detail on them that's team-colored? And as for the coffin, make the team color stand out more on it, or add a detail that's team-colored, like what I suggested for the trash can.

As for the trash can, I was thinking the creator could lean some more into what they already attempted and give RED a rusty, reddish can, whereas BLU gets a blueish, rust free steel can. I definitely also support your idea of putting a sticker on it, something like "RED's trash" and "BLU's waste". Lastly the coffin, and I honestly think the current model is unsalvageable. I think the best way to do it is to keep the current, wooden model for RED players and design a completely new model for BLU players that leans into the stereotypical industrial look that BLU is known for.
I like the Heavy's instrument taunt, but the quality of the animation itself looks terrible. Does Valve touch up the taunts they get or do they just add them to the game as-is?
They used to touch up the workshop taunts (for better or for worse, in the case of the Bagpipes) but now they're added as-is, since the amount of developers continuing to update the game is insanely small. The only changes prior to or after being added are up to the submitters.

i mean this is all good work but seriously some of them neither work as a taunt nor suits the mercs personality nor fits the game really. Like seriously we dont need pyro or engi playing wack a mole in the middle of nowhere. The soldier flag taunt is the idle taunt. It actually is a taunt and actually fits soldiers personality
Pyro playing with duckies in a pool fits them more than playing whack a spy? Or pyro with a motorcycle...? Or engie riding a jackhammer? A handful of taunts we have for the classes fit their personality, or an aestic given to them through a community joke, like the spycrab in the mannrobics taunt the demo having so many pirate, samurai, medieval, and monster cosmetics. The scout having skateboards, boomboxes, guitars, and prep kid stuff. The mercs aren't just on-off jokes or personalities, they're a blend of things, and the community adds to it. Engie and Pyro deal with spies probably more than any class so the whack a spy makes sense.
Idk how to feel about taunts anymore…Im fine with some silly ones every now and then but I miss when taunts were A: Actuate to what said character would do And B: Actually…A taunt? For example, when are you gonna use medics ambulance taunt? During setup and just being silly…As to where his Results are in taunt is something he would do and works as taunting the enemys, same with Demos Oblooterated taunt, works great as a taunt or celebration, but then you got some of his moving taunts that are just… “Get it guys cause he has a eyepatch and has a few pirate cosmetics?” One I loved recently was heavys wipedown taunt, its perfect for his character, works during setup and isn’t overly…silly…
Well according to Poker Night at the inventory, Heavy claims to a have a PHD in Russian Literature, and is also expanded upon in the Russian meet the heavy, "i am heavy weapons guy" Turns into "I am a specialist in heavy weaponry" so its likely he is actually rather educated, its just that he has to use simple phrases in English more than he has to in his native language, and valve as far as i know hasnt claimed that the Dialogue about heavies PHD was false so its safe to assume its canon.
One killtaunt I'd love to see Pyro get (with a new weapon) would have to be one based on the *Shoryuken* (Dragon Punch) from _Street Fighter_ - in particular, Ken's variation - to go with their existing Hadouken killtaunt and Kazan Karategi outfit. Pyro crouches and charges up on the spot (with their fist lighting on fire) for a few moments, before delivering a jumping, spinning uppercut (with a muffled "SHOOOORYUKEN" yell) that kills/ignites opponents on contact and launches them high into the air. That'd be pretty kickass!
I think the hiding taunts need a bit more of an indication that they aren't actually props. Add more flowers to the bush, and a poorly placed RED/BLU sticker on the trash can, and they're absolutely perfect.
The spy coffin/fake-death and sniper bush taunt is truly wholesome. But the new taunt still sadly have that ,,useless" factor. Taunts were originally invented to piss off the enemy in the kill cam. These new community made taunts can't be used for that

Heavy as a bassist, that's pretty neato and would be cool to be added :) I love the Medic taunts so far and want them added XD also the Bush Walker is hilarious, it has a Looney Tunes vibe to it, but on the downside, it blends in a bit too well for certain environments and could rival the Box Trot for Spy. The toy train taunt for Engie is adorable, I'd love to see it added, same for the sentry snake. Soldier's American flag taunt, that one's hilarious, definitely add that to the game, I could see it being perfect to be spammed on the 4th of July too XD Creeper's Creep, yeah that oen is another funny, def add it Valve! The sneaky Spy taunt is another one that feels really Looney Tunes esque like the Sniper's bush taunt, would actually pair together pretty well :) Lastly, the floating Demo taunt is hilarious, got a good laugh out of it, I could see people comparing it to Zenyatta.
I'd love to see some Emissis Blue cosmetics. It is one of the best SFMs I've ever seen, and i think it needs some representation in the offical game. Maybe a plague doctor outfit for Medic, a white mask for pyro, or even a charred face for spy.
The Engi train taunt would be perfect if they refered The end of the line sfm. Engi would take out the Heavy figure and place it on the track and then he would derail the train like in the sfm. After that he remove Heavy and place the train back on tracks on the loop again.
The Engineer train thing would be amazing, my father would love it since he has played tf2 and likes trains, so do I since my family has had a model train kinda thing going on since the late 1930’s, if it were to release I would have so much fun with that taunt including my father.
Some of these taunts are way too smooth to be in tf2 literally like the first one and the second one the second one has SO MUCH movement both medic and spy's face

I like some of the looping taunts but i do wish he got some of those quick taunts that are taunts. The medic juggle was pretty good snd the soldiers salute was good too i just think we need more of those instead if the loops.
The two I really want would be the Pompous pianist and the Bushwalker. Both are really good taunts that I’m surprised weren’t added in

Valve should start combining taunts into all class taunts once they have their own variation for each class even if they're made by different people.
i mean this is all good work but seriously some of them neither work as a taunt nor suits the mercs personality nor fits the game really. Like seriously we dont need pyro or engi playing wack a mole in the middle of nowhere. The soldier flag taunt is the idle taunt. It actually is a taunt and actually fits soldiers personality
Pyro playing with duckies in a pool fits them more than playing whack a spy? Or pyro with a motorcycle...? Or engie riding a jackhammer? A handful of taunts we have for the classes fit their personality, or an aestic given to them through a community joke, like the spycrab in the mannrobics taunt the demo having so many pirate, samurai, medieval, and monster cosmetics. The scout having skateboards, boomboxes, guitars, and prep kid stuff. The mercs aren't just on-off jokes or personalities, they're a blend of things, and the community adds to it. Engie and Pyro deal with spies probably more than any class so the whack a spy makes sense.

Idk how to feel about taunts anymore…Im fine with some silly ones every now and then but I miss when taunts were A: Actuate to what said character would do And B: Actually…A taunt? For example, when are you gonna use medics ambulance taunt? During setup and just being silly…As to where his Results are in taunt is something he would do and works as taunting the enemys, same with Demos Oblooterated taunt, works great as a taunt or celebration, but then you got some of his moving taunts that are just… “Get it guys cause he has a eyepatch and has a few pirate cosmetics?” One I loved recently was heavys wipedown taunt, its perfect for his character, works during setup and isn’t overly…silly…

Well according to Poker Night at the inventory, Heavy claims to a have a PHD in Russian Literature, and is also expanded upon in the Russian meet the heavy,
"i am heavy weapons guy" Turns into "I am a specialist in heavy weaponry" so its likely he is actually rather educated, its just that he has to use simple phrases in English more than he has to in his native language, and valve as far as i know hasnt claimed that the Dialogue about heavies PHD was false so its safe to assume its canon.

One killtaunt I'd love to see Pyro get (with a new weapon) would have to be one based on the *Shoryuken* (Dragon Punch) from _Street Fighter_ - in particular, Ken's variation - to go with their existing Hadouken killtaunt and Kazan Karategi outfit. Pyro crouches and charges up on the spot (with their fist lighting on fire) for a few moments, before delivering a jumping, spinning uppercut (with a muffled "SHOOOORYUKEN" yell) that kills/ignites opponents on contact and launches them high into the air. That'd be pretty kickass!

I think the hiding taunts need a bit more of an indication that they aren't actually props.
Add more flowers to the bush, and a poorly placed RED/BLU sticker on the trash can, and they're absolutely perfect.
The spy coffin/fake-death and sniper bush taunt is truly wholesome. But the new taunt still sadly have that ,,useless" factor. Taunts were originally invented to piss off the enemy in the kill cam. These new community made taunts can't be used for that

2:47 I think that this taunt should be usable by scouts too, since hes a teenager arcades fits him pretty well. Also, scouts can double jump, then a scout arcade game sounds believable.

I get you're putting in your opinion, but talking over the lower adjusted background sound to your voice volume is annoying, especially when you want your viewers to hear something. (This is a grievance from the very first shown taunt, and I do like your content, but please, if you want someone to hear something, up the background volume, or stop speaking)

I love the Medic taunts so far and want them added XD also the Bush Walker is hilarious, it has a Looney Tunes vibe to it, but on the downside, it blends in a bit too well for certain environments and could rival the Box Trot for Spy.
The toy train taunt for Engie is adorable, I'd love to see it added, same for the sentry snake.
Soldier's American flag taunt, that one's hilarious, definitely add that to the game, I could see it being perfect to be spammed on the 4th of July too XD

The sneaky Spy taunt is another one that feels really Looney Tunes esque like the Sniper's bush taunt, would actually pair together pretty well :)
Lastly, the floating Demo taunt is hilarious, got a good laugh out of it, I could see people comparing it to Zenyatta.

The Engi train taunt would be perfect if they refered The end of the line sfm. Engi would take out the Heavy figure and place it on the track and then he would derail the train like in the sfm. After that he remove Heavy and place the train back on tracks on the loop again.

The Engineer train thing would be amazing, my father would love it since he has played tf2 and likes trains, so do I since my family has had a model train kinda thing going on since the late 1930’s, if it were to release I would have so much fun with that taunt including my father.
