Why are you bringing religion in every thing. Western culture is just opposite of islam and yet they have made such a successful society. While islamic societies are shitholes.
Can u please do a series for the requirements for different specialty trainings separately (like GP, all surgical fields, ED and medicine). The whole process of application. Pros and Cons of getting into each specialty and how can one get into these trainings when coming via the competent authority pathway. Pleaseeeee
I'm just lately truly enjoying and being enlightened by your interesting videos, however, were you to cut out the melody, or (piano ??) music, I would be able to understand your dialogue really much, much, better; especially at moments when this music/noise peaks, which it does frequently.
For all these deduct 50% in tax. But yes, if you work crazy hours on nights, weekends and school holidays you will appear to earn as much as someone more qualified. Also it only takes 1 lawsuit (in that busy, unsupervised role) to jack up your premium expenses.
Almost all JMO roles are supervised. But I agree tax can be very high and yes you do burn out and more likely to kar mistakes. Life is all in balance indeed
6:15 How could you say that, ? For Locum ed job a JMOs salaray is 150-180$/hour? 😂😂 You are literally misleading people dear doctor....check any job website SEEK or anything...the statistics you wanted to establish is not correct, not even close to it..... average salary of a jmo is 60-80k per anum,,,,not 2-3 lakh 🙂

There have been new rules from ECFMGE regarding the certification The countries listed on WFME website will be valid and wdoms will no longer be valid from 2024 Uk or Australia are gng to follow the ECFMGE WFME countries or wdoms?
Nice informative video. I dont understand why GP are always asked to upskill or else they will not be skilled anymore, if they remain as GP for several years. I think its goes with any specialty!! I know O n G doctors who wouldn't know how to treat ketoacidosis/start heparin infusion, Surgery wouldn't know medicine stuff and same with ED not knowing treating chronic conditions. Its disheartening that every specialty is like dont be a GP? Mediocre doctors become GP :( Atleast GP know basic of all specialty :)

Australian medical schools are very competitive to get into, it is better to acquire baseline medical education from your home country and then attempt licensing examinations.
@@EmergencyFocus I see. Thank you doctor! Does that mean every GP doctor in Australia must work in the Emergency Room? I'm currently a Family Medicine Practitioner here in my country so I'm mostly used to non-emergency cases. I was wondering if there's such kind of job opportunity in Australia.

Yes, if you can get the college of your specialty to recognise your specialty. For example, if you are a surgeon, apply to the Royal Australasian Colelge of Surgeons. If recognised at least partially or substantially comparable you can get supervision +/- the part II exam. You are able to get specialist only registration with AHPRA. You will only be able to work in your area of specialty. However, you will be treated and paid by your employer just like any other local specialist.
You can join ED as a provisional trainer. For advanced training you must pass Primary FACEM exam + 2 references from local ED + general AHPRA registration which is not possible with just MRCEM
