    I want to encourage all medical workers out there, as a surgical nurse i have been loving my profession in nursing and have worked in two countries . In addition to having a good profession it also helped in my strategic investing plans that allowed me to purchase my third home, supporting my retirement goals..

      Wow, interesting indeed! Currently I'm in need of investment ideas or tips. Earlier this year I hesitated and failed to take any action until now. However, I'm determined to try something new as I am very open to various investment ideas . I want to be retired in my forties or fifties. I really wish I can achieve what you have achieved and I believe it will happen

      It's essential to comprehend the complexities of investing. Having a trustworthy support system, such as a financial adviser, who can advise you is crucial, especially when choosing assets.

    I loved your channel before when I'd follow just for the ER content. But then I started thinking about being a physician in Australia, and suddenly it became my dream. When I found your videos talking about it, I was relieved! Thank you very much for your effort. It is a theme that might not appeal to everyone but I'm sure your viewers are very grateful for your effort and content just as I am. Thank you so much! Cheers from Brazil!

Moh maangi salary pa lo tumhe patient loves you and respect you because you are a catalyst for the sick to get their health back. So your salary is priceless. Like I said before ,it is the same thing ,30 - 40 years ago , you take the plan exams 300candidates , passing it 11% ,which mean you have to be in that 11 peoples, you are saying salaries ,£80 to £100 ,000 that is when you have done your training for 5 years and another 5 years , working and getting your experience.

  • @abdullahzakariah1957
    @abdullahzakariah1957 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    Total salary for fy2 /pgy2(before taxes): 7250 AU$ (87,000 AU$ per year)
    Rent :2500 AU$ (for a couple with 2 kids)
    Groceries : 900 AU$
    Utility bills : 350 AU$ (includes gas, electricity, water, phone, wifi)
    Medical insurance for 2 : 1000 AU$ (not for PR and citizens. Assuming img as without PR)
    Medicare Levy 2%: 1750 AU$
    Personal grooming, Council tax, Public transport and other miscellaneous charges: 1000 AU$
    Income tax on salary: 1550 AU$ (18742 AU$ per year)
    Total expenses per month: 9050 AU$
    Savings per month: 7250(salary)- 9050(total expenses inc tax) = minus 1800 AU$
    So this means, a PGY2 doctor on a basic work schedule, and his unemployed wife can save nothing in Australia? (negative savings)
    UK and Ireland seems better than this..

    • @EmergencyFocus
      @EmergencyFocus  ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Temporary residents don’t pay 2% Medicare levy and 7000-7500 is take home post tax salary as I said in the video. I have been a resident medical officer in Australia and SHO the UK and my saving were substantially better than in the UK.

    2. Would I get my desired speciality in Australia like ophthalmology or cardiology if possible how much duration usually takes comparison to the UK.

    Sir i am currently working as SHO in UK, but want to get trained in Trauma and Orthopedics. Which country would you think be easier to get into T&O training, UK or Australia ?
    And how about GP as a second option would you prefer to do ?
    Do you prefer to move to Australia straightaway as in like SHO or after being specialised in UK. What would you recommend ? Thank you

    • @EmergencyFocus
      @EmergencyFocus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For GP Australia is better. T&O is going to require fair bit of organisation with research and non training jobs in UK or Aus.

    My age is 44 + and i am fellow (FCPS) in General Medicine from CPSP for last 8 years if i take this exam what are my prospects as IMG to get a job and settle down considering my age factor. The skilled migration category 189 says that you should be below 45 at the time of invitation from au. concerned authority.

    • @EmergencyFocus
      @EmergencyFocus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good chances, if you can opt to work in areas of need as regional Australia age will not be a factor to get a PR. You can need to at least pass amc 1
