I like the Mega-man mod, Makes him look like he's actually from a different and older game aesthetic. Most of the retro characters look HD and pretty, but their classic game engine visuals (washed out colors, cartoony art-style,) are lost in the process.

What an amazing selection of mods this time around, you got gaming legends like Chrono, a cool image to keji inafune Mega Man art style , a compact version of safer sephiroth and bully McGuire. Absolutely perfect.

My personal favorite was the Safer Sephiroth one.
Rework of a preexisting character, rework of a preexisting character, rework of a preexisting character, SPIDER-MAN, rework of a preexisting character.
I freaked the moment I saw Crono. Mad respect to the dev for that, absolutely amazing.

I believe that's the final form he takes in his boss battle.
It's a more humanized form of safer Sephiroth from final fantasy dissidia
it's based on his final form from the original FFVII. "safer" is also suspected to be a misinterpretation of "seraph", as seraph are considered the most powerful angels and are usually depicted as having 6 wings.
though it's a bit funny that they officially corrected Aeris > Aerith but not safer > seraph.
also, iirc Safer Sephiroth is his final smash.
