I am from Barcelona and I live in the UK. I put so much weight in the UK as got used to their diet, your videos remind me a lot of they way I use to eat in Spain. Very balanced and without obsessing about food. Thanks a lot for sharing they are very helpful!
I am from Poland and live in UK for almost 20 years. My first 3 months of moving to UK I put 10 kg which I could never do when living back in my country. Learnt to be very careful with food and stick to polish way of eating. Big breakfast, big lunch, small or no dinner, no puddings
I love Ratatouille, there´s somehting about this combination of vegetables... I also use different methods to prepare it: More soupy in a pot, with thicker sauce from a pan, baked in a casserole or oven-roasted... It´s just so good every time and a super summery dish :)
Hello! I love your videos and listen to them when I’m working because you have a very calming voice and I love learning more about nutrition. I took 4 years of French so I find your videos very interesting as I would LOVE to visit France. Please consider doing some videos in French! That would be fun! Have a great day.
i would love like a recipe book of all your fave french meals that you’ve vegetarian-ized (with measurements, approx calories, cook time) that would be so helpful!
Thank you for explaining about the ducks. Weird to think how the liver is a filter, and even if people are not drinkers fat will still accumulate.. my dad died 2 weeks ago from this. Makes me look just a little more critically at the fat in my own diet. Thank you for this.
It's so funny how a lot of the things you eat are considered "bad foods" in (at least Canadian) diet culture, such as bread, butter, beef etc. I would love to see a typical day of your eating and portions.
My favorite liver is canned cod livers in its own oils. Its so yummy. I also like frog legs. It was common in the usa because it was free now Asain places have it same with snail. I had it in japan it wasnt bad.
VERY interesting, but I wish you had held the photos of those typical meals longer while you're talking about them instead of just flashing them by quickly! Would like to look at them a bit longer...merci!
Another great informative video Lucie! 😁 I would love to see a video on the reasons why you choose to be vegetarian ☺️ And if you take any vitamin supplements, such as B12, etc...
Thank you! I address that a little in this video th-cam.com/video/ygN5QvXGetQ/w-d-xo.html, and I don't take b12 but I still eat eggs and milk products and use nutritional yeast fortified in b12!
the zipper noises don’t bother me at all personally, for some reason i kinda like it it almost sounds like raindrops in a odd kind of way so don’t worry about it :)
Thank you for sharing this. It would be nice if you could list the ingredients as well. Maybe we could try to cook it. I'm from Malaysia in Asia. Loved that you talk about foods and how France ladies are in relation to food.
As a vegetarian living in France I recognize the struggle :) @saralaterpstra wrote a really nice VEGAN cook book where she veganized the most classic French meals. Really good!
Hi there, I came here to learn about the French way of eating. But have enjoyed your channel as a whole. Can you PLEASE do more videos on how to eat as Frenchman but living in America? I've heard in France there are really no preservatives in the food. That's why everything spoils quicker. Is it even possible to eat this way here in the States? Many thanks if you read this.
I can make all the French recipes I like in the UK, but they’ll never be as good as the French versions because we can’t buy ripe vegetables which have benefited from lots of sun. Therefore everything lacks flavour.
Hi Lucie! Thank you for this video, I found it very interesting and I love it! I’d like to ask you if you can write the name of the French meals.. I don’t know how to write it but I’d like to read (and maybe try) some recipe.. thank you a lot in advance! Love ❤️ from Italy 🇮🇹
@@Edukalebylucie thank you a lot Lucie, you’re always so kind and helpful! Love your videos and I’m learning so much from them.. I’m improving my and my family eating habits. Have a nice Sunday. ❤️❤️

Totally random but would you mind doing a house/tour Lucie? It seems super clean and classy from your videos!
You need a chefs knife. It takes you forever to cut vegetables with that little knife
You are totally right I need to buy one! Keep forgetting to!
I know what I want for lunch now.
I am not a fan of fois gras either, it is cruel and unethical.
Yes french desserts!!!!!

I haven't made ratatouille in years. I need to try it again.
Do you have recipes for the soups the French like to eat?

How did u became vegetarian? Is it difficult to follow in a traditional french family

How did the tofu get those green specks in them?
I think that may have been cheese with herbs? Not sure though lol
It was tofu with herbs!
Random question- is French your first language and how did you learn English ??
Yes French is my first language and I learned English when I came to live in the US for a few years!
I have a question why do you the French not like eggs for breakfast
Second you sound American not French
Do you guys eat poutine over there
Your zipper was driving me crazy!!!!! So loud
Why don't you eat meat? Sugar is the main cause behind modern day health problems.
This might be more for ethical reasons.
Or she could just not like meat. Which is why I don't eat it. Some people just don't enjoy it.
@@ladysensei1487 I haven't eaten meat for months, just lost interest, meat eaters don't understand why anyone would not eat meat
