- In one of the last deleted scenes of the true final battle, Pal manages to transform into "Mecha Furby" and the Mitchell family is about to stop the threat. It ends much the same as the final showdown we had against Pal but this time it's ... let's say ... "Mecha Pal"

If you listen closely, they got the Scott Pilgrim boss battle song playing in the background. Cool! I bet this was one of the inspirations for how the score should sound.

They need to make a mini series on this show, something like Katie's adventures in college, or something about the robots, that would be so cool!!

I was thinking that they should make a TH-cam channel of katie and there it post the movies that she created in her TH-cam channel
Perhaps adventures of Eric and Deborahbot 5000. They see that they don't fit in human society and people are terrified that after robopocalypse some Pal-bots remained. Even Mitchells although accepting them as family have hard time treating them normal (sometimes calling them per "robot" or not including them in family pictures. They two go on series of adventure in attempt to know how to be humans and get to live normal lives among the people. On their quest they try different activities, gain new expieriences and meet new characters. Sorry for being too generic on this part, but 1. I'm not sure at this moment, and 2. Comment is so long already without it. As they travel, Mitchells start searching for them from worry and to apologize. However goverment/some corporation is on tail of robots, ready to capture last functioning Pal-bots for their own purpose. I know it may not classify as mini-series, just series and maybe robots as background characters in movie wouldn't get something like that, but I really adore Eric and Deorahbot 5000 and series as well as some justice would be amazing for them.

the Mecha-furby was cool but Katie going to kill herself for her dad would've been a pretty yikes moment for the film, probably a good thing it was taken out
She wanted to make it up to her father after what she said to him. That's why they set up a heroic sacrifice moment although she survived.
In the bonanza cut I saw recently, I noticed the changes they originally concieved during the film's production, including the Las Vegas setting in the third act as well as an additional argument scene when he found out Katie lied to him resulting in her saying "I rather be anything than end up like you!". Even how Rick acted during this and afterwards was put in an arrogant fashion unlike in the final version where he was too heartbroken when finding out.

@@SonicXtreme99akaCreeperMario I guess at the time I thought it would've been a glorification of suicide, but now I know that noble sacrifice is an established trope in lots of media and isn't necessarily that serious. I guess it would've been too emotionally intense this early on in the film- usually big, relationship-defining momentsl like this happen closer to the climax
In my opinion, not having the scene on which Katie tells PAL that her dad gave it all for her was a good move, as having that scene would end up feeling as if the writers were talking down to their audience by spelling out a previously-seen and obvious plotpoint to them.
Istead of slicon valley in the red diamond is the hearth of to much electronic decive funcionated with a giant head furby xd
Here's hoping the deleted scenes like this get added in the Bonanza extended cut in the Mitchells Blu-Ray.

So the Pal MAX Primes were originally going to be more blocky and black versions of the Pal MAXes? I'm kind of glad they went witha different, more unique design. But it would've been cool if we saw the original concept ones as like in-between the ranks of Pal MAX and Pal MAX Prime, it could be called Pal MAX+ (Which I got this name idea from someone in a comment's reply, credit to them.) or something like that.
