Absolutely loved this!! I passionately work towards improving PCOS awareness in India and this made me so happy. As a doctor and someone struggling with PCOS herself, I don't think PCOS can be explained any more easily and comprehensively as your mom did. You are doing a wonderful job Sejal. Thank you for this informative video👍

As someone who has struggled with PCOS and its symptoms since the last 11+ years, I have tried all kinds of medical treatments- allopathy, homeopathy and Ayurvedic . My conclusion was that allopathy has no line of treatment besides prescribing contraceptive pills or hormones to control the PCOS symptoms. So you get your periods as long as you are taking the prescribed medications. Once you stop them, your symptoms persist.
Ayurvedic treatment however is slower in nature and they actually try to fix the root problem.
Of course like doctor mentioned here, lifestyle change, diet, sleep, stress management play an extremely important role in PCOS management. So each girl has to watch her own body and decide the right stuff for herself rather than simply relying on popping the pills.

    1. What is the medical method to detect PCOS ? Hormonal blood tests or ultrasound or what?
(I have excessive hair plus it has been only 2 yrs, I have my regular periods, and I am 25, I have got my hormonal tests done but they don't show anything wrong)
    2. If excessive hair is removed by laser hair treatment, are there any chances in the future when these may grow back in case of oral contraception or pregnancy?
    3. Are there any complications during pregnancy?
PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE these questions mean a lot.

I felt the video was quite short. You could have elaborated on many more topics such as for how long will the laser hair removal last for PCOD patients who have Hirsutism also (due to PCOD of course). And also, regarding the types of medicines that they are put on except for contraceptives.
I would request you to please make a part 2 of this topic! Please 🙈

Hi Sejal, can you make a Mom&Me video about drinking ... I mean, not only drinking and driving, but drinking in general ... how much should one drink, how should one maintain restrain ... what are the health hazards ... what would be a mother's suggestion to a daughter and a doctor's suggestion to the young generation.

I just wanna say to all those girls those who have PCOD that plz do pranayams and yoga-asans and follow a strict diet and change your lifestyle. you will feel the result in few months. There are so many channels where girls got married and have baby too with PCOD. Also there are a video by swami Nityanandam and Baba Ramdev. And there is channel named " Mom's corner India". Do watch all of them and follow Sandeep Maheshwari sir also when you lose hope. Never stop fighting. But do it with proper plan. Disclaimer- Plz do your own research and analysis beforr doing anything. I won't be responsible for anything. These are my personal opinions.

I found out today that I've PCOD. I can't afford to go to gym.. I'm a student and I used to be fit but now during the lockdown I've been in my room for 2 years I've developed so many problem my weight has increased from 54 to 65 in 1 year. If I dont go to gym and go out for a jogging or running, cycling will I be fine ? Or I must have a proper excersize pattern?
