This music gets me pumped up. I was like 14 when this game came out and my friends would come over and stare at the back of my head while I play this all day.
I swear Ps 1, II, and Ps IV all deserve 2d sprite-based HD remakes in the vain of Sonic Mania, Odin Sphere HD, and Ys Chronicles, with gorgeous HD sprites and fluid animations etc, and the art/design should be by Tohru Yoshida with promo and cover art by Hitoshi Yoneda once again... I'd pay damn good money for those! *sigh*
I love the midi transition and overall work, but I think the drums should have been a little quicker paced. Feels a little slower than the original. Also, in the off chance you don't know, the mix for the Japanese version is different from the American version.

I would pay a lot to get a Phantasy Star II remake where you battled with a theme as intense as this!
The classic Phantasy Star series had such great music. Great work! I would love to see more Phantasy Star remixes!

You took an annoying, screechy, grating battle theme and turned it into, like... an awesome 80's rock anthem. Color me impressed.

Dubstep drums sound a bit silly for a 4/4 synth rock track but I liked the rest of it, second half of the solo part is great.
