How wide is the ruling that shines through? Standard 9 mm or 7 mm?

How are the cross point and cross music different?

As I understood it, the music nib has a slightly thinner and longer profile. Eliminating the variable of in what angle the pen is held by assuming the both nibs are in the same angle to the paper, the music nib will produce finer downstrokes and even fatter horizontal strokes.
