There's something really relaxing about this video, I love it
Good for you for collecting those when you did!
Love the little vans that you draw!
Thank you, fantastic video :)
Thank you once again.
Very nice recap. These are my grail nibs, except the fude and zoom, which I already have.
These are so incredible I’ll probably buy one
SUPREME VIDEO ... SUPER THX
Thanks a lot for the the Sailor fountain pen tour. What great information and some nice drawing as always. I know what you mean when you say it makes you nervous the pen might roll off of the desk. I have had that happen a few times at work and ruined a few nibs. Some have been replaced others were gone forever and having them repaired is rare thing in todays culture. Using an expensive $$$ pen to urban sketch is a risky think for sure.
I can’t afford to have the pen roll off. Even if you want to repair it, it’s difficult to find people to repair
@@teohyc I don't think I would get over a $500 pen getting ruined or lost very easily. I don't have any that valuable.
Yes early agaainnn💙✨
Thanks for the great video! I need your kind advice: I intend to acquire a new naginata togi emperor MF. I have two options for almost the same price - the older generation (made by the father), and the new generation. Both are almost the same price. What would you go for? Thanks so much.
Can we write school notes with bent pen pls tell 🙏
I use the XF 14K nibs
They function like an XXXF super fine
Do you find it easier too draw with a fude nib compared to a flex nib? Those pens are beautiful, but well above my price range.
Fude is easier to draw with because it does not require any particular way to hold or move. Flex nib can only flex when you pull in downwards motion.
Hi Teoh, what is the widest line in mm you can draw with the cross point and cross music nib?
If you mean drawing with the broad size maybe 1.5mm? Definitely thicker than the thickest B nib, but not as broad as italic or stub niv
I like the delicate etching on the older ones better. But I'd probably get a Sailor Fude cheapo one to start with. Good enough for me. I took some calligraphy when I was much younger and I'm not sure this is the right kind of nib even for that. somewhere I have a set of Speedball nibs and one handle.
Was looking for this pen review ! Do you feel the newer models are of Bette quality ? My grail is a king eagle (hope to get it one day )
They have the same writing experience. Very similar quality
@@teohyc is the emperor tab removable ?
@@mhergoparian174 Not sure about that.
Which of these nib grinds would you say is best for Chinese calligraphy?
The fude nib
Coool
