You need a wheel to spin with different pieces of gear on it. When the wheel picks the gear, we will see “Will It Chug!?”. Then replace it on the wheel. This has a game show title, it might as well have a spinning wheel, a host, and a lovely.
I have the Mooer E7 and I love it! Of course it doesn't chug, but not all of us are metalheads 😂 I follow Ola because he's super funny, and he didn't disappoint with this one!
What setup do you use it with, and does it sound much better than it did here? I'm contemplating getting one just to make trippy sounds and entertain myself
@@adamtwelve I use mainly through a amp-sim+IR (nux mg 300) to record. It sounds much better than here, you could see Ola barely touches the knobs 😛There are plenty of good videos about this pedal on youtube, specially the Mike Hermans one.
@@guga7 yeah I was wondering why he didn't mess with the knobs also, just kept same settings and switched between modes, kinda weird but not really a serious video anyways so doesn't matter that much. I'll check out that other video you mentioned, thanks!
The Electroharmonix Microsynth pedal actuall does chug on some of the settings that sound like a big fat moog synth. I recorded some heavy industrial music with one of those and actually was able to do some very cool chugging sounds.
It's a stunningly fun little pedal when you play around with it. Not so practical in a live setting if you want to be versatile unless you can be real quick and have your settings memorized XD
I have this pedal and it’s really fun. It may not be able to chug, but it is for synth wave and other electronic music. If anything, it chugs for synth music. 🎹🤘🏻🎸😂
LOL, this was so totally random. I'd love to see you do something similar with the Boss SY-200 when it comes out in January. Just make sure to throw some reverb and delay after the preamp, 'cause most synth pedals sound like trash until you add some ambience to them. (I had an SY-1 briefly, but they announced the SY-200 a few days after I got it. Needless to say, I returned it and preordered the latter since the ability to store presets is everything with this sort of pedal.)
That's funny, I can stack synths into my rig. 😅....you gotta play the pedal like its another instrument. You can't just shred on Synths. They are nice with a fuzz after... most synths have fuzz anyway, a good way to tame a synth is with a square wave tremolo afterwards, modulation and delay can be helpful too
It may not chug but it's a fun pedal to experiment with. Fun for recording but switching between sounds onstage is not easy as you would have to bend down to press the switch. Not great for most heavy metal but fun for a low price.
One of those pedals that gets used for half hour, then goes in the box with the rest if the useless pedals. Not my thing, but I think the boss version is better, m ore usable keyboard sounds. Questioning if that would chug was obvious before you plugged it in. I give it a 3/10 because its good for parts.
No pedal is useless in the right hands (though I'm sure there are some silly exceptions out there) but depending on how you use it, it is more a studio-bound pedal than live rig pedal. It's definitely got a lot more versatility than what we see in this video because Ola was just messing about with it.
Your face being a combination of hope and disappointment always cracks me up with these “will it chug” videos. Thanks for trying it out so I don’t have to lol.
Mooer E7 Synth... WILL IT CHUG?
Saturn's chug
Luigi's chug
It didn’t, but that made the video incredibly entertaining and interesting
......
.................
and now we now how slayer sounds on a old atari game console. made me laugh out loud the way you are trying to stay serious. thank you Ola!
The E7 is the anti-chug pedal.
I was thinking maybe the NES or SNES, if they had decided to make a Slayer videogame.
Holy shit bro , you gave me a chuckle. I totally remember those atari sounds. Back in the 70's we thought that was the greatest thing ever!
5:52 everyone
Dude that’s what I thought too🤣
Ola's face full of terror and confusion makes it so funny.
You need a wheel to spin with different pieces of gear on it. When the wheel picks the gear, we will see “Will It Chug!?”. Then replace it on the wheel.
This has a game show title, it might as well have a spinning wheel, a host, and a lovely.
YES! Wheel of Chug. make it happen
Wheel it Chug
Wheel it chug good idea
I have the Mooer E7 and I love it! Of course it doesn't chug, but not all of us are metalheads 😂 I follow Ola because he's super funny, and he didn't disappoint with this one!

It looks like something I'd love for about 20 minutes
@@guga7 yeah I was wondering why he didn't mess with the knobs also, just kept same settings and switched between modes, kinda weird but not really a serious video anyways so doesn't matter that much. I'll check out that other video you mentioned, thanks!
IDK if a blown hemi powered monster truck dragging it thru a mud bog could make this thing chug! A reach I know... Lol
4:45 my new ringtone
Fancy seeing you here
Hey hello dude !
It’s always fun watching Ola trying to make non chugging gear, chug. Gets me to watch the video and watch it %100 of the way through
The Electroharmonix Microsynth pedal actuall does chug on some of the settings that sound like a big fat moog synth. I recorded some heavy industrial music with one of those and actually was able to do some very cool chugging sounds.
Sounds cool. Did you distort it too?
I am all for Ola using sound snippet of this episode for covering up his swearing for any future video.
I don't care if they don't chug, it always makes the video funnier watching Ola!
If Slayer was a 16bit band, actually feeling it 🤣
reach the boss level on the NES game
I was thinking the same thing. Nintendo Slayer.
I was feeling it had a 16-bit Castlevania vibe to it.
If you really want some 16-bit metal, check out "Metal Squad" from Thunderforce IV/Lightning Force
Actually I think it's SUPER COOL !! I'm sure most people knew from the start it wasn't going to chug , but it still has its place in the music world
Where is that?
Put a fuzz pedal in front of it and I bet you will get crushing dub step sounds instantly
Definitely got some Nintendo entertainment system vibes…and I like the colors…. I do love that jcm800 sound ❤️🔥
Fully expect this pedal to be used on the next album for Between the buried and me
Slayer on that sounds like a game soundtrack when you get the velocity gem
Only Ola could make Slayer sound like a Commodore 64 game 🤣🤘
VIC-20 even
Olas face expressions are ungodly I love it
It sound like an 80´s video game with Slayer music.
It tracks really well, I bet you could combine this with some crushing tracks and get something amazing
How the fuck did keep a straight face playing Slayer? I couldn’t stop laughing! It was brilliant! You made my day Ola 🤘🤘
That last effect really brought the 8-bit vibes to your riffs, so technically can we say it was an 8-bit chug? probably not :p
5:40 has mid 90's midi cover track vibes.
That was the funniest "Will It Chug" I've ever seen. The faces you made cracked me up.
3:43 made me laugh so much hahaha
I love the rate at which Ola drifts between "WTF IS GOING ON" and actually vibing with the pedal.
It's a stunningly fun little pedal when you play around with it. Not so practical in a live setting if you want to be versatile unless you can be real quick and have your settings memorized XD
Love how the chugs sounds like somebody's hitting a cubpoard with a stick... a frickin messed up cupboard
The fart pedal plugged to this, then into Miko.
EPIC CHUGGING RIGHT THERE!!! 😂😂😂
This pedal is freaking awesome, an octaver and magnetic delay, and some dirt, and that will sound sick!
I have this pedal and it’s really fun. It may not be able to chug, but it is for synth wave and other electronic music. If anything, it chugs for synth music. 🎹🤘🏻🎸😂
That would be great for a chiptune intro to a live metal song.
Joyo Dark Flame in Will It Chug!
That pedal is awesome!
Slayer Nintendo 8 bits version!

something tells me this would be best suited for making video game music, chip tunes! :)

I miss when you put two overdrives in front made everything chug I love it
2:21
It did not chug. But it definitely grooved.
Next week: Boss acoustic simulator ...will it chug.
I need to incorporate the phrase blibbity blop into engineering documents. This will start on Monday. All the best to you, Ola!
Definitely didn’t chug, it was more like a Big Chungus
You are the only person that can make this pedal cool
2:54 Best part of the vídeo
accurate summary of the day: 6:19
Sheesh the pedal is actually amazing lol, not sure what to use it for but it's definitely something which doesn't suck ass
Will It Chug? is my favorite!
Damn that guitar is so beautiful.
“Sounds like a farting duck 😎.” Classic 🤣!
I feel like this pedal would be really good for playing that Space Jam song
🎛 ATARI metal..loved it. 😂😂😂
You’re making some decent 8bit video game music today
That was FUN!
The one pedal where you can make video game soundtrack scores.
We need more videos with gear like that!
Sounds pretty awesome
Super pedal! I need this pedal!
I lol'd at the Slayer part 😂😂
The slayer run you did sounded like a slayer track that had toooooo much to drink...I guess it still chugged🍺🥃
I come back to watch that video again from time to time.... That one is good for health 😂
Not sure who's head was More sideways my Dog's or mine LMAO
Lmfao slayer was like wired Al yankovic was shredding on his accordion...
my brain was about to explode in the first 3.30min of the vid
Hellz yeah! I'm hear for the Marshall... 😁
Synth pedals are fun for about 5 minutes
For next episode: Will It Chug? *Boss Chromatic Tuner*
It may not chug but it's a fun pedal to experiment with. Fun for recording but switching between sounds onstage is not easy as you would have to bend down to press the switch. Not great for most heavy metal but fun for a low price.
That 8-bit Slayer tho! Haha!! 🤘
Dude that amp kicks maximum ass.....fuck yea!
Sounds amazing man
"That is so useful, how about that?!" Honestly still looking at this pedal for some cheap fun but damn this review was great.
Synth pedal into JCM800. Always a good time \m/
Ola, sounds like we're in a hard rock starship! Farting duck lmao 😂🤘❤
It kinda reminds me of the music in Doom 1 and 2. Metal-inspired MIDI music
Holy shit this was hilarious, I haven't laughed this hard in a while 😂🤣
I wonder how it sounds if you run it into a gainy setup...
The Slayer bit reminded me of when Amon Amarth done an 8bit mobile game \m/
Ola you should do a vid on Celestion Speaker Mix Pro and the new DSR format (alternative to IR)
That's the exact Spongebob jellyfish party music sound! 😂
When you got to the 7th synth channel you should have added a real chug over the top of it. Comedy gold.
The galloping horse sound was the best.
I give it 9/10 because it has great synth sounds, arpeggiator and it's cheap.
No pedal is useless in the right hands (though I'm sure there are some silly exceptions out there) but depending on how you use it, it is more a studio-bound pedal than live rig pedal. It's definitely got a lot more versatility than what we see in this video because Ola was just messing about with it.
When you broke out the Slayer mate, that’s too funny
Mooer, cabs simulator is pretty good, you Can download some packs, spécial metal
Old-school Videogame vibes with this pedal
That "Thank you" at the end. Pff... No, Ola... Thank YOU! Ola... Thank you.
This makes me want to play One Foot Out The Door by Van Halen
I died when you started playing slayer lol
I like the Raining [Pixelated] Blood song from Slayer.
I know they aren't metal, but I could see the bassist from Muse making this sound pretty heavy
Admit it Ola, you were digging a couple modes! We saw your grove! 😂
Your face being a combination of hope and disappointment always cracks me up with these “will it chug” videos. Thanks for trying it out so I don’t have to lol.
This little fellow decrease every chug to 8 bits.🤣 Now all I need is to find my old Atari😜
kind of cool every body stops play a quick bridge with that pedal. then the double kicks bust out a groove. and the pit opens up !!!!!!! try it
Ah yes slayer on the atari the tone only legends uses
I LOL’D so hard “this is super useful”
Reminds me of the song the jelly fish played in sponge-bobs house when he had that huge wall of speakers
Thanks Ola for having a good time with this effect. Will it chug? No. Did it make us laugh? Yes!
I was in a shitty mood today, this made me laugh! Thanks! 🤘
Ништяк! NES Slayer tone.
