Sweet dreams are made of this...I already have the Roland VG-88, the GR-50, the GR-09, the GR-30, the GR-33- the GR-20, the VG-99 and the GR-55....but I’ll probably buy this one. As well.....who am I to disagree....
Sweet dreams are made of this.. it seems like a good 'toe dipper', you were obviously having fun with it. Personally, I would, (and did), save the extra £75 and stretch to the Boss SY1. The Boss has a lot more patches, 121 of them, allows for an expression pedal which really opens it up, and has a good resale value at the moment. Nice work, cool vid, cheers.
Remember in that X-Men movie how Quicksilver saved all those people from the explosion while "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This" played in the background? Good times.
Sweet dreams are made of this - picked up this pedal on an Amazon flash sale and tried it out last night. Having no idea what I was doing, I found your video, and it’s very concise and helpful! Definitely fun to tinker around with
I have a Synth 9 pedal and would enjoy this Mooer synth E7 pedal, to broaden My choice of sound possibilities. I'm also attracted. By the low price and also the fact that sweet dreams are made of this.
Pretty cool review 😎🎸🎹 I bought this pedal a few years ago and I find it to be a fun and unique pedal to own. My personal favorite settings are the 8-bit and edm tones. This is a great pedal to own if you like to experiment with new sounds. I definitely had fun playing with this pedal. This is a keeper for me.
Sweet dreams are made of this is likely the best demo of this I've seen so far. The couple of demos I've looked up made it seem this was just an auto-wah with a few funny voices.
Just ordered this one. I accidentally ordered a different synth pedal a few weeks ago because I am illiterate when it comes to guitar terminology and stuff. It didnt click until after I had got it that mono synth meant only one string at a time would work, I wanted a pedal that could do all strings like this one. So I’m excited to try this.
A nice pedal at that price. How would it sound going through a micro-amp with no effects loops? And how does it react with bending, fast picking and legato?
I could have hours of fun with this one Andy. Still have my heart set in a boss SY 1 though 😀 I really enjoyed this one Andy - cheers 😀😀👍👍 Sweet dreams are made of these
That ARP function seems very limited. There are some cool sounds though, some fuzz, flanger and that organ sound and a nice dry/wet mix, could produce a nice rendition of 'are friends electric?'. Alternatively a nice take on 'sweet dreams are made of this' with a bit of thought. 😎
Do you think I could pull off the famous synth line in Cars by Gary Numan with this? I think the last example was close. The sustain is the important thing.
You want me to put 'sweet dreams are made of these'? Well, who am I to disagree? I do apologise, especially if loads of other people have said the same cheesy line.
I've been considering grabbing this thing when I get some money someday even though I'd really like to save for a Microcosm. Maybe if I tell my wife that sweet dreams are made of this, she'll somehow agree and be ok with my new purchase/s. Pretty decent vid, btw! Rock on and stuff and shit!
Not at keen on the arpeggiator - that could soon become irritating if used much at all. Presets also interesting, but more control is needed to refine them. Sorry, this is one I think to miss. Having said that, 6 (no ARP) was neat as was 7.
it's funny, if people see you playing using this type of effect (like solo playing), they say crazy stuff like oh it's not real, he's not really playing that, it's the effects etc. it's really annoying because yes it is the effects but i guarantee that if i let you try playing this guitar right now you will not be able to sound like i do, it's kind of a bummer. that's why we love effects though right? they require a different skillset and knowledge and become a whole second instrument
Been watching about 3 months. First time responding, or tossing in my 2-cents worth. You I like. You have a Good Presence.(that s-box Sucks & everybody knows it) Maybe you can help me find the Episode where you show the inexpensive Strats?? @@TheGuitarGeek Well Thank You Very Much for responding. And So quickly. 9 times out of 10 we on the 'Other Side' rarely ever get a response.( I knew you were a Class Act🥇) and I mean that. That's a Nice country. Sorry this is such a long text. Cheers.👍
I remember playing an electric synth guitar pickup years ago, the latency was terrible, my advice with pedals like these for what it’s worth, is use a volume pedal with it and use delay pedals ect.
The point I am making is there are no issues regarding latency with cheaper pedals like these, they are a grounding to start with like any cheap synth and you need to add to them

the only thing in this video more impressive then the pedal Andy is your hair ... man its going to take a extra wide angle lenses pretty soon just to get a head shot! LOL :-)

Sweet dreams are made of this. Wonderful video. I'd love the specs on the 7th tone you got. Very much so something I'm interested in at the moment.
I like this as an alternative to the EHX pedal I had, smaller is better when a pedal doesn’t get too much use in a set. Sweet dreams Andy!
I might do more synth. I might not... Sub here! geni.us/SuperSubscribe

That is a cool pedal. Great to add another texture to riffs. Swells, cool synth sounds are awesome 👌
It’s a great entry pedal into this world. Someone more experienced to get better sounds out of it

Thanks for stopping by, Peter. The price of this makes it a strong contender

How would the trumpet effect sound on violin or cello? I would like to try it to play salsa or funk
