    Best Video using this pedal, so many boring ass players playing blues with this!

    I bought the A7 Ambient reverb pedal and was impressed. From every review I've seen , they seem to all be very usable.

    Very nicely done, thanks for posting this. Just got my E7, still exploring, but this may be the best demo so far, very clear demo of effects and sounds, without any annoying dialogue constantly interrupting (never have figured out why some demos are so bent on that style of presentation).

    Here we go again.
    The boards are complete and settled, totally right for the gigs. No tweaks required, I've got my sound. I'm happy, the duo partner's happy, job's a good 'un.
    Then some ***** posts a video...
    🙂

    Nice demo as always (hence my thumb-up), but I think they could have chosen a wider palette of synth "preset" sounds for the Mooer, they kinda sound similar.

    best pedal for it's pricepoint. Ordered one a few days ago. I wanted a roland guitar synth but am having to save for a move, and will be making a synthwave song with this and various vsts. The only thing missing is a midi out, which would be SPECTACULAR.

      Thanks! I think it’s easy to shape the sound to get something you’ll like if you use other pedals with it. Modulations and reverbs always help with synth sounds.

    Hi! Beautiful composition. I have a question. I dont have enough money to buy the Boss sy1 but i have enough to buy this one. My songs are very inspired en Muse's music, so this pedal will fullfil my needs?

    • @DoNoise
      @DoNoise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I haven’t tried the Boss SY-1. These pedals would probably sound very similar in most setups and fortunately there are a lot of demos of both. It should be easy to decide if the sound is for you. The pedal’s response to your playing is probably where it would make the most difference for you but it’s almost impossible to understand that without trying it yourself.

  • @junkheadyamiken

    Whats your signal chain? Your amp and cab sim seem to introduce a cheap digital tremolo effect (like bad pitch shifters do) that sounds like the pedal is broken. The direct recording on the other hans is super clean, thanks for that!

    • @DoNoise
      @DoNoise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The amp and cab was a clean Fender style simulation from Line 6 HX Stomp.
      Signal chain is Guitar>HX Stomp >Computer.
      HX Stomp signal chain is: Guitar>Amp>FX Loop>Cab>Room reverb. E7 is in the FX Loop.

    What about if used with an acoustic instrument ,and keep the mix knob in a Low position, to obtain the effected sound as " background sound" ? Thank you!

    Hi Do Noise! What do you about the mooer pedal as an 8bits chiptune pedal? For me, it sound really good as an approach in some oscillator, but it doesnt complete the task. May be there is a way for doing that?

    • @DoNoise
      @DoNoise  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry I am not sure I understand the question.

      @@DoNoise The question is if you think the Mooer synth is a good pedal for doing 8bits/chiptune sounds like Game boy, Nintendo/Famicom, Atari?

      No I haven’t but I’m very curious about it. Playing them side by side would be interesting.

    • @IronDave1985
      @IronDave1985 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      SY-1 has 121 different modes, but many of them are very similar. If you’re looking for a ton of flexibility/features, the SY-1 is it. But if you just want a few cool synth sounds, this will definitely get you there, and for a lot cheaper.

    • @brainbox9219
      @brainbox9219 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have the SY-1 and it has a lot of sounds and you can tweak them fairly well to your liking, this has different sounds and parameters and presets and it’s mini? Gonna get one and pair it with the SY-1, possible double arpeggiator chaos lol

  • @alexandresaffi3178

    This or Source Audio C4? (or the Enzo Meris?)

    • @DoNoise
      @DoNoise  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hard to say as they’re very different. If you’re not able to try them yourself, best thing to do would be to watch as many demos as possible and try to see which one is right for you.

    Nice demo, thanks. I was considering Boss SY-1 but during the search found this. I love playing blues and am looking for a organ type just for variation. The reference tone is something like this (th-cam.com/video/BTOTCmvwNgY/w-d-xo.html) - Do you think Mooer E7 can produce a similar sound? SY-1 looks a bit expensive expecially when I am only looking to get a few sound variations.

    • @DoNoise
      @DoNoise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think this pedal is good for that type of sound, though. You can check out EHX 9 series pedals.

      @@gorimus I have both, and the sy1 is very good on organs. For typical synth sounds as sawtooth wave patches and arpegiators, I think that the quality is the same.

    I was considering this. I own a Boss SY 300, Source Audio C4 and a Meris Enzo.
    The sound of this is very thin and sounds a lot Toyish., I’ll have to pass in this one..

    • @AlbinoTuxedo
      @AlbinoTuxedo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You own the absolute best pedals for Synth emulation on guitar. Hell, just the SY-300 costs like 800 bucks on amazon, at the CHEAPEST. The E7 costs 80 usd... it's kind of unfair to compare them considering they are completely different price and quality ranges. For someone who doesn't have 1000 dollars to spare, this is a really cool tool, especially because every other synth pedal out there doesn't go down from 120 dollars in price
