Hi Ant. I'm in Tennessee and that is the first stoat I've ever seen. Thanks for the clip and your knowledge of how to bring it in for a nice close up. Very cute!
I LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY. This was such a fun video.. I know you work really hard so I'm glad you have such a beautiful "office". I would like to tell you that Kate may have introduced you to us (Thank you Kate!) but YOU and your content are why we watch and subscribe. I find your videos peaceful, interesting, refreshing and delightful to watch.
Nature at its best Ant. Thank you for filming the young Stoat brings back lovely memories of my childhood growing up in the South Wales Valleys. Mountains as our playground and nature/ wild birds, animals all around us as we played.
That little felllow was thinking, thats one BIG bunny! 😊 How lovely to see one so close and in his element. Thank you for sharing such a unique experience. 👍🤗
I have never heard of a stoat or seen one - sure is cute. Love the way it starts to run away but hears the rabbit sound and just has to run back to find it!!!🙂
It's morning in my part of the world, this video is like early morning meditation for me, beautiful, green and serene....and a cute lil stoat jumping all over the place....thank you. 🙏
I had to look up the definition of "stoat" because I had never heard that word being used. What a cute little critter. I love all the outside sounds and greenery.
Great impression Ant. Love the way it looks right at you trying to work it all out. I'd love a calendar of stills from the videos to capture the changing year.
how cute is that.........................beautiful.................good job to film that little stoat..................Blessings and Greetings from Daggy Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
Really cute but very cruel on chickens and probably rabbits but he certainly is fit. It's great having a phone with you so you can photograph anything that is worth posting and that was. You have your work cut out for you there, don't you. Gosh it's a beautiful part of Northumberland. Thank you for posting and being alert, we need more alerts. Take care.
Hi Marie yes they are a predator but also I thought people would like to see it as they rarely get more than a glimpse .. the walls will take me a few weeks to repair as there is over a hundred metres damaged
I have never heard of an animal called a stoat. It kind of reminds me of a weasel. It was so cute. Your so talented not only can you build stone walls but yo do animal calls too.😁
He was obviously intrigued by your impersonations Ant. Well done! We don't have them in NZ so it's a novelty to see a cute baby one that seems quite large to me. Very sleek creature
We do have them in New Zealand! We used to see them on our farm and the sight of Mum and a tribe of little ones wiggling their way along the farm track, always made m day.Sadly hunted because of the damage they do to native species of birds.
Such a cute fella. I looked him up. Apparently he is part of the ferret and weasel family that we are familiar with in the states. Great helper of the ecology circle. Thanks for the watch. So peaceful.

So cute 🥰 and now I know what a distressed rabbit sounds like.
Such a cute little fella

Great camera work. He was so cute. Your countryside looks fantastic.
So cute!
Love to see wildlife in the wild! What a cutie this one is. Thanks for sharing Ant.
Your welcome
I read up that their main diet is rabbits so they must be quite well liked in UK. Their preferred habitat is..... dry stone walls!
Aw, how canny. Could watch him all day. Nice day at the office. 😊
How lovely to see it so close😊
Lovely video isn’t he cute
how cute is that.........................beautiful.................good job to film that little stoat..................Blessings and Greetings from Daggy Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
This is a terrific video! Loved seeing the cute little guy!
I can't believe you keep seeing them. I feel like they're a little more elusive here...unless that one has a den nearby? They're pretty fast too.
What a cute little guy 😊 I think you confused him 😂
Excellent Ant..I've lived in Keenley then Allendale all my life and never seen one.
Great video!
I also have never heard of a stoat and had to look it up. Thank you for such a cute educational opportunity.
That was lovely. Thank you.
@ant do you have a contract with the County to fix these stone walls or are they privately owned? I love that you still possess a skill like this.
That sharp little face looks slightly perplexed. Thanks so much, Ant, loved seeing this!

Haha, we learn something new every day!!
Aah bless him
He was so adorable and he has big paws for such a little baby. Thanks for showing us.
I think he’s thinking I can hear dinner but where the blooming heck is it ???
I hope it found some dinner. Amazing video!
Hopefully his home was not destroyed with all the felled trees. So sad to see so many trees down.😢
Nothing nicer than watching nature while having breakfast ❤
Awww, so cute! Playing your video has my dog wondering where the squeaky sound is coming from!
Lovely 😊 thanks for sharing
Lovely. Thanks for
I love his shirt front shining out, telling us where he is. Such a fast mover.
Such a cute fella. I looked him up. Apparently he is part of the ferret and weasel family that we are familiar with in the states. Great helper of the ecology circle. Thanks for the watch. So peaceful.
Amazing footage! I love that his curiosity gets the better of him 😃
