Such a great job Ant - I am so pleased with the new steps - it feels so safe now and I can’t wait to clear it out and let the grandkids discover it just like my kids did! thank you so much! Kate, x
Wow, what a great job you have done Anthony. Once again you have made it look so simple and your description of each step is so easy to follow. Thanks for sharing
You did such a nice job on the steps for Kate's tree house. It looks so sturdy & safe now. I enjoy watching your projects and how you figure out all the steps necessary to get the projects done. You make things look so simple, which I know are not as simple as they appear. I can tell you have so much experience doing these types of projects. I would love to be able to build things like you do. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us viewers.
I learned so much from this!I especially liked the information on the fittings that can be put on the railings to prevent splinters and the non slip boards.Thank you!
It was lovely to see Kate’s tree house once again, and wonderful to see that you are helping to preserve it, Ant. What a magical place for everyone! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Ant, it is so good to see the sturdy strong stairs you have built on the treehouse! Kate and her grandkids will be able to start using the treehouse again! You make it look easy to do, though I imagine it is not! Thank you for showing us!!🤗
Great job, Ant. I know Kate will feel much safer climbing up into the tree house. Her grandkids will be safe as well. You are such a great help to Kate. Take care. ❤
I love your running commentary teaching. I'm no carpenter, but I can follow your procedure. And I get nostalgic listening to the lovely Northern voice of my long ago childhood. Thank you.
Ant. Midwestern America Female carpenter here 🙂 I use my drill as a hammer occasionally too !! Lol. I am a fan of Kates as well and can appreciate the need for sturdiness as we get long in the years ! I’m anticipating a video of Kates grandchildren climbing on the stairs and exploring another room in the garden. As one who has filled a need for others, I am grateful for your willing hands to be a builder and part of the solution. Our world needs more like you to be an example for mankind. Yes. We’re all fallible but you seem to be a humble man and a good neighbor. Yeah that ground is way squishier than the clay we have here !!!!!🫣
A simple thing like new steps on a tree house makes the "estate" so much fun for everyone. Kate has a magnificent home for her family to enjoy and a great friend to make it all magical.
Good morning Ant, I have been watching Kate go up and down those steps to hang her beautiful quilts for a while. And i feared she would fall or they would break. You did a wonderful job. You and Kate are so lucky to have your friendship. And to give it to grandchildren is so special. It was nice for for Kate to pop in also. You and yours have a great day.
Ant, those bairns are going to love having the treehouse to imagine all sorts of things and games to play. I learn so much watching your videos Ant. Thanks from Minnesota!
Gosh, everyone needs an Ant in their life! You are such a great friend/neighbor to Kate! Her grandchildren will have lots of fun in the treehouse! The steps are top notch, Ant! Kate was so pleased! Love from Pennsylvania, USA 💕🌷🐻
And that's how it's done, folks. Ant always makes it look so easy - In the end is a sturdy and secure stairway to the children's (and adults!) treehouse.
Great job once again! It's amazing that you two always figure out the best way to do a project. I know Kate wanted those steps replaced asap so the grandkids can play there. It looks pretty muddy in that area but there should be some nice days for fun up in the sky! Kate also hangs finished quilts over the railing so we can see the full thing and get a picture. 😊
It must be lovely to work in Kate's garden with the sound of the birds singing. So much better than having a radio running all the time. Brilliant job. 😊
Hello from Massachusetts, USA. You remind me so much of my beloved Grandfather, who could build or fix anything!!! He was the kindest man who was always happy and smiling ... much like you!!!! Your work is wonderful ... such patience when rebuilding the stone walls!!!! Keep the videos coming ... I love them all!!!!!!
Once again, a beautiful, well-done job! Sturdy and great looking at the same time. Now Kate and another generation of her family can enjoy the magic place od her garden. You are a wonderful neighbor and friend, Ant!
We have a very similar clubhouse that my husband built for our daughter and son about 36 years ago. He made the exact same change when the grandkids came along...from a ladder attached to the side to regular steps. Our kids used to hoist things up in a bucket with a rope because carrying things up a ladder was difficult 😂 Nice job, Ant!
Ant, you can build, create , repair, design…oh how God has gifted you & I love how most of what you do adds to the beauty of the natural creation❣️ Did you build the tree house originally?
Such a magical place for the grandkids to discover. Thank you Anthony for being a kind and thoughtful neighbour. PS- I am trying to decide if you are left or right handed. You use your tools with equal strength and skill in both hands. Certainly do not see that very often.
So happy to see the old tree house refurbished ! It’s a lovely structure ! The new steps will be more manageable and much stronger than the former . Great job ! Great video ! ❤xx
Ha, when I saw "enchanting treehouse" I wondered if it was Kate's or not LOL. Good to see her switching out to stairs over a ladder for her and the grands. You must be loving that Kate!! Nice job Ant!
Nice job on the steps! I’m sure you thought of this; but just in case you didn’t, I’m wondering: if the old steps and posts were rotted out, what about the other posts that are holding up the treehouse? Have they been checked for safety? If it’s been there so long that Kate’s kids used it when they were small, could they need replacement too? Just checking bc we don’t want the treehouse to come tumbling down. 😬 TFS. 🌷
Ant hello from Illinois. You are so talented. Thank you for showing us the proper ways to do things. I remembered Kate taking us into the treehouse. Nice memory
What an amazing job, Ant! That tree house has always been my favorite spot in Kate, her garden. It looks magical. I'm glad it is safe again to be used. 👍🏻🥰
Kate!👋😊 Always happy to see you and Kate together. The before and after of those steps is amazing. I assume one day you’ll replace the whole thing, but for now Job well Done ❤
You're an excellent teacher. I learned so much from you in less than an hour of watching a few of your video's. You improved the option for the little ones to get up there. Great job!! Is this the same method you would use for doing stairs inside a house?

You're an excellent teacher. I learned so much from you in less than an hour of watching a few of your video's. You improved the option for the little ones to get up there. Great job!! Is this the same method you would use for doing stairs inside a house?
No the stairs in a house would be set in to cut out grooves
What a great job! 🎉
Looks great!
