Who else would have shared this experience with us? Thankyou Ant! Tempted to caption its thoughts.....so aware of your presence yet undaunted. Well aware that they are a force to be dealt with! Lovely!
"Should I go in or should I stay out, should I go in or should I stay out, where did I put it, where did I put it, the coast is clear, the coast is clear, into the wall, pull it up pull it up, made it made it and Ant didn't catch me, Ant didn't catch me!" That was actually funny to watch! Thanks!
A stoat????….had to do my research….I live in the Pacific Northwest of the States….(Captain George Vancouver of the Royal British Navy 1792 Country) related to the weasel or otter….DELIGHTFUL video….Ant would you possibly share some of the history of your rock walls….or rock walls in general…..absolutely timeless….
Saw you on Kate's channel and subscribed here weeks ago, but this is the first notification I've received. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵 USA. Take care of yourself and each other 😷
An awesome video😊. I don’t know the word Stoat. Is this what I would call a Weasel or Ferret?? Really a cute little creature, what ever we call it! Thanks Anthony😊😊
Thank you so much for sharing, they are beautiful little creatures. I have an old video of my cat chasing one which was quite fascinating, and am pleased to say the stoat escaped. On another occasion we returned home to find one indoors which she had brought in through the cat flap and luckily we released it unharmed, although the smell indoors was rather awful. 😊
That was amazing. I had never seen a stoat before. He was bigger than I thought he would be. He really moves fast. It reminded me of a ground squirrel that we have near where I live in Washington state USA. Thank you for sharing. You take very good videos. You must have a lot of patience to remain so still to get good videos.
I have never seen a stoat on video before Ant. That was great. It moved so fast and I didn’t realize what it was trying to do until you said it was working the ground. It moved so fast I couldn’t make out what it had caught. But you did and told us 😁. Thanks Ant.
Of course I would like to see more videos we just watch it this morning Monday morning in Australia really enjoyed it my Husband just loves your channel
Wow Ant, you are so observant, that little guy looks like they had or will have high blood pressure if they keep moving like that. It was like I imagine being with David Attenborough. Really nice to watch, thank you for sharing.
Ah ! There you are ! I was eagerly awaiting another video! This was very sweet to watch . I have never heard of a stoat ! Are they common to your region? They’re quick little guys , fun to watch ! So many unexpected sightings pop up in the country. Great footage! Thanks, Ant. ❤xx
We went to Denmark last week for fishing herring from the pier if a small harbour. All of a sudden one if this beautiful creatures showed up. It was after the fish waste people didn't properly put back into the sea as they were supposed to. They are so quick i couldn't get a picture of it. What a shame
Great footage! They are such endearing little animals. Unfortunately here in NZ stoats are a huge pest in some areas. They were introduced, along with weasels and ferrets, to control the problem rabbit population. However they developed a taste for many of our native birds, the eggs and babies, and have decimated the population. Consequently they are trapped and hunted to keep under control. A good example of how introduced animals can upset the delicate balance of nature.
Wow. I had to watch it twice to see the rabbit. What a coincidence, my daily crossword puzzle had the clue of a winter white-coat animal. I had to look it up. Never heard of a stoat until today and now I could see one. Amazing.
that was great!
Wow! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Nature at it's best❤

"Should I go in or should I stay out, should I go in or should I stay out, where did I put it, where did I put it, the coast is clear, the coast is clear, into the wall, pull it up pull it up, made it made it and Ant didn't catch me, Ant didn't catch me!" That was actually funny to watch! Thanks!
