@Aria Collie Bees are very tolerant and non-violent, they will only get aggressive if their nest is threatened unlike wasps who get pissed if you are within their range (a meter or less up down they will be aware of you)
Human body grows tolerance to the stinger acid the more you get stung, so instead of painful burning sensation and giant bloated red areas on your skin, it just pinches a little. Same thing happens with mosquitoes, early summer mosquito bites become itchy red spots on your skin but late summer you wont even notice the bites. Too bad the body forgets this tolerance during winter.
A swarm of honeybees is a magical thing. I watched my dad recover swarms as a kid, and when I got into beekeeping some 35+ years ago, recovering a swarm is still magical and satisfying.
They get a lot calmer in their swarms so Unless you go and destroy the hive and tear out the honey they sometimes don’t even need smoke You still shouldn’t try this though as these look like domestic honey bees and are much more docile
This maniac just grabbed a handful of bees and was like "Ladies..." And then he legit squeezed their queen and then shook the branch that they were resting on and he wasn't wearing any equipment?! This dude is my freaking beekeeping hero!! 😂😂😂 Dude you need to keep on being awesome!!
Bee's are surprisingly docile when they are swarming like that. They'll still sting you, if you agitate them too much, but it's a couple steps lower on their priorities than usual.
I have a tree that flowers about 8 months out of the year. Every day there would be 50 or more bees on it. They clear cut 300 acres behind me for a housing development. Last year I was lucky if I saw 10 bees a day. They killed all the bees nest with the clear cutting I am sure.
He's got more guts than a lot of people , I hand it to him he's got a hard job and he takes it to heart he actually enjoys it . Not very many people can say that
When I was in seventh grade, a friend of mine and I found a huge bees nest on the ground. Before I could stop him, my friend threw a big rock on the nest. We ran like hell . we both got stung right and left. Never forget it. Way back in the 70's.
She has a longer butt. My dad takes care of bees and once he pointed it out to me, it really is quite noticeable. Plus, those that take care of bees tend to check their own hives frequently and you always have to make sure you still have a queen every time you open your box to check on the bees, so you get used to finding her. It is like a where's waldo, except the background is a bunch of waldos without legs so you're just looking for the really different waldo.
@@ABSOLCXRPSEZ they aren't, hornets are actually pretty chill but their sting is the worst. Wasps are the bastards, they are the most agressive ones and will sting you without much provocation.

Amazing! I just got stung weeks ago and got stung during work. Never been allergic and been stung several times in my life. Long story short. Sent me to the hospital. Amazing how important these insects are for our eco system. Wish I can do what you do for fun. I love nature.
It's because they're honey bees not wasps. They only sting if they feel like they're in extreme danger Because that will die after. Once they found the queen was safe they immediately followed her realising there's no reason to literally kill themselves when the thing they want safe is already safe.
This man has incredible eye sight. He saw the queen in a matter of seconds and he picked out 1 wasp in a swarm of 50k bees This guy has completed every where's Wallie for sure

i have queen sensing powers too. I became a Mariah Carey fan the first moment I heard her voice. I knew that was the queen.
@Aria Collie Bees are very tolerant and non-violent, they will only get aggressive if their nest is threatened unlike wasps who get pissed if you are within their range (a meter or less up down they will be aware of you)
@@Exknight2 but he literally yeeted their whole nest in one very fast motion to death ?

how does this comment have 0 replies?
Human body grows tolerance to the stinger acid the more you get stung, so instead of painful burning sensation and giant bloated red areas on your skin, it just pinches a little. Same thing happens with mosquitoes, early summer mosquito bites become itchy red spots on your skin but late summer you wont even notice the bites. Too bad the body forgets this tolerance during winter.
as someone who got stung by a yellowjacket, the pain really isnt that bad unless you get it in sensitive areas liek the face

She has a longer butt. My dad takes care of bees and once he pointed it out to me, it really is quite noticeable. Plus, those that take care of bees tend to check their own hives frequently and you always have to make sure you still have a queen every time you open your box to check on the bees, so you get used to finding her.
