Use a normal balljoint fork, tap it in to preload separation, then hammer the spindle near the balljoint stud. Preloading is key! that's how I do it, & I'm an ASE Pro, but only when I don't have my air hammer. With that I use a balljoint fork chisel. That thing is so quick, like 'brap-ap-ap' and done! Totally worth the ~$50 for the air hammer & adapter 20 years ago, & it still works.
I have this same SPC ball joints in my Prelude V. TEIN coilovers, wheels 205/45 r17 and everythink is ok. :) Check your upper wishbone rubbers. Weird how it sinks so low when you pulled out steering knuckle.
There's a flat part on the UCA. if you wack that spot on either side, it'll pop out. I used to use that separator tool you used until my boy showed me that technique
those types of adjustable ball joints can’t be run so low. not only will you break the strut tower but it could get stuck there and cause an accident. ask me how i know! best to got back to stock or raise it so it won’t hit.
🤯🤯🤯 whatttttt??? Deng yo, glad it hasn’t happened to me yet. Do you think adjusting the camber more inward would give me more clearance with the strut tower?
I’m having the same issue w the sounds. I’m anxious to check my strut tower in the morning tho. I’m jus trying to compensate for bigger wheels. Also thanks for the caution @AlexSeto. I take it there’s not many brands that are a better alt.to SPC?
I run SPC and don’t hit on rough chicago roads. I have BC Racing Coilovers but only run about 2” lower than stock. I run 17” wheels and made sure my tire height is OEM.
Trick I use is 2 hammers hitting each side of the knucle at the same time, works like a charm just dont forget to leave the nut on loose so it doesnt fly off.

Sorry it's actually on the knuckle. Not the UCA
I've got no problems with those camber balljoints, and my BB6 is tucking 215/40-18
What lip kit are you rocking?
What coilovers do you have?

@@djmattplay so your tire height is a 50?
What would you recommend on the front?

The face shield 🤣
Shooot, I was scared something was gonna fly at me 😂😂😂
Covid
can you flip those to get more negative camber?
If you're into stupid games. Yes
Good thing fedex employees have easy pickings when it comes to getting new tires.
Damn so stories are true about the front spc ball joints hitting the strut towers 😭 i heard the rears dont hit though just the fronts
You’re supposed to beat on the actual knuckle with the hammer don’t touch the ball joint! Either way the ball joint separator is the way to go!
Deng, that makes sense 😂😂😂 but yeah, ball joint separator ftw!!!!
