I have changed out control arms at least four times on the Matrix/Vibe. It was always frustrating to align the holes and thread the bolts into the engine cradle twice for each control arm. The Camry control arm looks so much easier to remount aside from loosening and removing the engine mount for space.
When you did new install everything lined up easy. I just did the same lower control arm and I have like a 1-2 inch gap between the ball joint and lower control arm when installing new part, what did i do wrong?
Cam alignment bolts. There should be either the front or rear bolt that is offset and turning it different degrees would shift the arm front and rear to fine tune the alignment. I assume the camry has to be this way also.

Same problem today. Did you ever figure it out? I'm going to try to fix it tomorrow.

Your axle popped out of socket. Just need to shake the knuckle until it pops back in.
