    I have a couple of questions:
    1. if I already took the NCLEX in the US, do i have to retake it for Canada?
    2. Can i apply for jobs before registering to the CNO?
    3. once you're registered in your province, you can start the migratory process or do you need a job offer for that?
    THANK YOU!

    • @madelinewise8603
      @madelinewise8603 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know I'm just some random person on the internet, but maybe I can help you with your questions. The US NCLEX is reciprocated by Canada. It doesn't matter where you take it, it works in both countries as of several years ago. Most hospital RN jobs (from what I know, in BC) will not even consider you if you are not registered with the provence. You must give your license number to submit the application and it is a required field. Typically, you need a job offer to get a work visa. Once you work for a year or two you would be a good candidate for permanent residency. Hope that helps!

      Antony Tom Hi Antony, You can start your NNAS, you will get an evaluation report from them which u will need to sunmit to the province you want to work then They will decide whether you are eligible fro RPN or RN based on that you need to write the exam... For RPN you need to write CPNRE and for RN u need to write NCLEX... if u pass the exam you will b working as RPN or RN.. So everything depends on your eligibility.. Ritu Thapa Hi Ritu, work experience really doesn’t matter , its okay if u have some.. its alright if u don’t have any.. the most important is your detailed curriculum from Nepal which determines the match to the Canadian BSN curriculum of that particular province you are applying..!! I went through NNAS website and read the process of submitting documents and how long it will take for the evaluation and advisory report. I have one question: for how long will the advisory report be valid?
      I am planning to apply for CN on September this year by taking a post graduate diploma course on Chronic Disease management and I was thinking what if I begin my NNAS process this month because it might be time consuming and I will probably get it done by the time my diploma course ends so that I won't have to wait long after it to appear in the NCLEX-RN exam. But the question is if my NNAS process is completed and I get the advisory report mid-way through my diploma course or even before I get to CN, will I be able to use it after my course ends? Or will I need to do some renewal?

    • @ZanucaRN
      @ZanucaRN  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ritu Thapa NNAS will take total 10 weeks .. u can start ur process and nnas. U can submit about the course directly to regulatory body because by the time u finish ur course NNAS will prepare the report for u.. either u can wait u til u finish ur course if its clinical that will hell if its just a theory based course then that wont b that helpful... depends on u u can start now or wait until u finish ur course

      Qatar life Expat In ur case there are two options, First, after i do ur NNAS evaluation and the regulatory body will decide for u based on ur curriculum gaps ans will ask you to study.. 1-2 year bridging courses.. !
      Secondly, you can start your NNAS and also u can join the colleges which provides the post grad in nursing.. any nursing subjects but should b clinical courses of one or two year that will help u to fulfill your gaps.

      Adekayero Bamidele You can come to canada in different visa types like student, work or immigration... Do seek advice from migration consultancies on how you want to come and work on that process before.!

    hello, thanks for the informative video. Im currently applying for nnas and i was looking at college to get an idea for where I can study if ever i still need to. while i was doing that i noticed something called NCAS, Nursing Community Assessment service, i just wanted to ask if I also need to do that to get into college? is it also a requirement? hoping for your response :)

    • @ZanucaRN
      @ZanucaRN  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1sukhmanator1 hi there! For all international educated nurses first step is NNAS u r on right tract.. well u can study in any province and getting registration might differ a little bit after the NNAS assessment. NCAS is only for British Columbia province ...sometimes applicant may direct to NCAS service but not necessarily (if u want to get registered in BC then only) So its not the requirement for all the province... NNAS is the first step. The advisory report should b submitted to corresponding regulatory bodies of that province and they will guide u further..

      @@ZanucaRN hello, I've already received my report from nnas and when i went to apply for ontario regulatory they were asking for a work permit in canada. I dont understand how can i get a work permit?

    • @ZanucaRN
      @ZanucaRN  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1sukhmanator1 hi Sukh! For now u can continue ur application without the work permit, write and email to CNO but u should be in Canada at the time when you need to practice as RN or write exam for RPN . At the time you need to be in Canada in Student Visa or work permit or as an Immigrant...so start thinking that wayout too.

      Mariaa Velano Hi Maria, the WES report support ur immigration and mught b help ful for some academic purpose.. But to get registration NNAS evaluation is mandatory for nurses who studied outside of Canada...!! So NNAS is independent evaluation process ... NNAS and WES is not related.. hope I got ur question! And best wishes..🙏

    Heyy Is it compulsory to get each band 7 to become RN in Canada, I have an overall band 8 but I got 6.5 in writing. Is it possible to apply?

    • @ZanucaRN
      @ZanucaRN  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      anjali shrestha You can for sure apply in NNAS but to fulfill the english language criteria.. U need atleast 7.5 in speaking, 6.5 in Reading and 7 in Writing and listening...! And overall at-least 7.. You need to meet the individual band score..!
