Agree... I believe I now have 6 Turkish pistols and the quality you get with them is amazing... Its sad to say that other manufacturers could learn a thing or two from them...
Thanks for the feedback Niki. I wish I'd have picked a Canik TP9 when they were retailing in Pakistan for around 450-500USD, the import ban Kicked in around 4/5 years ago and most Turkish handguns now are around 1,500 USD and hard to find. The best thing I did at the time was buying a Stoegar Cougar 9mm when they were cheap. I live in Europe but that Stoegar has been my most trusted Licensed (Legally Permitted) EDC everytime I visit for past 8 years. You guys are really lucky having all those beauties available to you at such amazing prices.
I'm a big fan of the turkish 1 to 1 clones. I put wilson combat springs and a trigger in my regard. I'm really tempted by the doublestack 380 beretta clone that is starting to trickle into gunshops.
Great video, I've really been leaning toward grabbing a SAR 9. I've Owned a SAR B6p 9mm for a few months now and it's been a great gun. The price made me feel like I was in on a secret nobody else knew about. lol.
Excellent review of these fine Turkish imports. I own pretty much all the above pistols except for the Tanik. Your description of the SAR 9 is pretty accurate. Its a cross between a HK VP-9 lower with a Glock upper. What would your description be on the Tanik TP-9. To me it looks (at least the side) like a Walther PPQ M5. Thanks again for reviewing these lesser know firearms. Also, do not forget about the Tisas brand. I subscribed.
Canik is awesome... Its a great shooter and very reliable... I think Tisas is also fantastic... I own the M1911A1 and feel that its the best clone of a Colt 1911 on the market... Ill do a review soon
I was a my local gun shop today and they had a Girsan Regard, is maybe the best Girsan of all. They also had a Girsan MC 28, I didn't like anything about it. They had an used Stoger it looked decent. Sarsilmaz makes really good guns, they had a few Sar 2000 that are really nice. I personally have a Sar K2 45C and I love it. In my opinion out of all the guns that are coming out of Turkey Canik seems to be the best and they are proven guns. Sarsilmaz seems to be build like battle tanks and are reliable. With all others I have zero experience so I can't comment on them.
@@gunsammodrones I go by at least twice a week to check what they are bringing in. The store is super busy and inventory don't last long. I have a Ruger LCP and a Taurus Curve... Both are very reliable... I like the Curve a bit better because of the light, laser and the belt clip but both would serve you well... Of course there are other options but those two seem to be my favs
The Girsan Regard is an awesome Beretta clone… Weight is the same… Feel is the same and the shooting is identical… Can also use Beretta parts in this Girsan
Just waiting to pick up my Girsan Regard MC...I knew zero about it when I went to the gun store, looking at the case full of really unique pistols, the Girsan looked different, so I looked further. All metal, now I’m asking the clerk to show me the gun...up close it looks and feels special, better made, and despite those thoughts occurring almost instantly, my decision to buy it happened that quickly as well. The price was more than decent and surprised it was as low as it was. If it was as good as I initially thought, I’d be happy

Pick one up for $399.00 but had to send it back because one of the screws in the grip was messing didn't notice it when I bought it found one review and they said it was like a sig 229 but don't see that in it.
