when I first comprehended that all was consciousness I felt as though this was so profound that I should be doing something different with my life ,I mean here I am with this new understanding , I am still grateful though ,very grateful, I think of these things everyday
I just realised how big the wish is for the person, to know something and if someone else also "knows" something to know more or better, than that person. Oh my god! I recognize the need to be someone as a person, someone who knows something, someone who also has to say something ;-)..... Writing this makes me laugh out loudly! It is as if I just woke up out of the dream being someone else than John Smith ;-)..... Life as John Smith is full of joy! Playing beeing a human in a world of forms, inspired by the formless and nurrished by the soul.
In a way yes , all of us feel ourselves seperated from the others who feel themselves seperated also. In that way we all feel the same self which is not the real Self. And the way we feel ourself is different from all the others because we have different circumstances, different opinions...that's why there is such chaos in the world..even while we are one same Self, or Awareness.. Nice game of Consciousness is 't It?
Even putting the unchangeable in front of the changing is a believed concept. In reality they are one and beyond, because even oneness or non duality are concepts :) and who is putting one in front of the other? So, there is a belief in others? In other experiences? I've never experienced any other experience. What's that like? Take one awareness with 7 billion worlds as a possibility? THIS is all there is and YOU are THIS. No others. No other experience but YOUR experience. ONE. Inseparable, spacious, self aware THIS.
Ohhh, I think I might have an image that works in understanding. Consciousness is like like water in a way in that it manifests forms from itself and yet the forms are itself and not itself and the forms constantly morph, yet consciousness maintains its original face (so to speak; like water is water is water whether it is fog, steam, ice, liquid). It truly is the ultimate magic, life is. If one were to take a sheet of rubber that was in a frame and push against it, it would have a bump in its shape, or if one were to take five fingers and push against the rubber, there would be many bumps, it still is the rubber sheet with the manifestation of various bumps. Personally, I have often thought of life as a living tapestry, all connected because it is all threads, different colors, shapes and textures, yet thread nonetheless.
Individual mind is one with the universal mind. It is individual just when it is universal. You are yourself and universal at the same time just as your friend is. Whatever happens in the farthest corner of the universe happens in you. That's nonduality. And you are that. You are Consciousness first and Consciousness is infinite. And Consciousness in a pretentious posture is the mind. Otherwise there's no mind nor is there a universe. From mind's point of view objects are out there and you are separate from them. Not true from Consciousness' point of view. You are living your mind experiencing a universe. Delete the mind and there's no universe and all that is left of you is pure consciousness in its solitude existence.
The best way this thinking mind can conceptualize Brahman, true self w.e is to take a coin and look at one side as this material appearance and the other as the dimensionless awareness and spin it. Which we all know creates the illusion of a transparent sphere. ora ball of light covered by black paper with many holes punched in it so the light comes out in shafts. Each shaft thinks it is seperate or different from the others, but really they are all the same light.
Could it be that there is one awareness manifesting one universe of information known in various ways. The information known is the same information and the knowing is the same one knowing. One awareness manifesting one flow of activity known from various private perspectives, as experience. 🌹

Why would we all perceive the world and its illusory objects in essentially the same way? What makes that happen? Similar brains functioning within the divine plan?

“Thinking” is a process but “Awareness” of thinking is not a process.

I like the idea that physics/q m has in itself proved something to be infinite in nature. Entanglement!
